1 /5 Maria Ramirez: My childhood consisted of Friday choir rehearsals since my grandmother sang in the choir and Sunday Spanish mass at 7:30. Nothing but beautiful, faithful, hopeful and beautiful childhood memories. I also baptized my son at Immaculate Conception church. Today we offered a mass for my grandmother, she was a woman of faith and devoted herself to this particular church and I was unable to physically be inside the building. I have a son who has special needs and is non ambulatory and not one but both ramps were closed. I understand what we have to respect social distance and perhaps having one entrance makes everything more controlled but we also have to respect human kind and ALL. My son and I sat outside the entire amass next to the Virgin Mary to pay our respects to our grandmother. I find this disrespectful, unethical and inhuman being that it’s the house of God and in this case entrance was welcome for all. Extremely upset.
