5 /5 Sarah Kellner: What a cute little museum! It was just luck that we found it! Everytime we pass the building, we think its the Heritage part of the building and it never looked open. But we saw the sign and boy, were glad we went. Not only did we get a great tour, but free Florida orange and grapefruit samples! This place is a must for Florida history!

5 /5 Brittany Brown: What a wonderful little treat this was while walking around Vero Beach. My mom and I went in to the museum because it started to rain a little. We were greeted by Heather who was fabulous. She explained the building, local citrus history dating back to the natives and into the 21st century. We really enjoyed our time here. Don’t let the size fool you, it is packed with information and perfect spot for planning an event. We got to sample an Indian river orange and some juice. Would highly recommend stopping in and saying Hello to Heather!

5 /5 Gregory Blomgren: This museum was one of the best I have visited! Please do not let the size deter you! Although it is very small, it is packed with so much local history. The local historian at the museum that day gave a tour of the museum, giving so much history and information that was not already apart of the exhibit! Unfortunately we came during the off season. This meant we could not try some fresh Indian River Orange juice or see the groves. I have already planned a trip back during the season (November-May) to see even more of this very unique museum. Since visiting, multiple friends and family have visited and all have said how great the museum is! Please Please Please visit them! They also have a function hall in the room next to the museum. The hall (called the Heritage Center) was restored and preserved back to how it was in the early 1900s. The roof, original fire place, and floors were magnificent to see.

Jaycee Park - Vero Beach Christina L.: Im differently abled, not in wheel chair but use cane and ankle bracing. Easy to find, covered cement picnic tables and sitting area shaded up hill. Has handicap parking, but hills are steep and off-setting angled. It was quite hard to go down hill and even with wheel chair it would be difficult to navigate. Parking aside, this is really a place for people or cant physically get around easily. Quite dangerous, but nice for people who arent at a physical disadvantage.

Veterans Memorial Island Sanctuary - Vero Beach Donald Mosley: This park was great! We saw dolphins, crazy squirrels and lots of memorials. Well kept, nice sidewalk and views.

Tracking Station Beachfront Park - Vero Beach Michael Tarkowski: The park is mostly closed because of construction. There is an open walking trail. No dogs allowed.

Round Island Beach Park - Vero Beach Heather Beaird: Stopped at the Round Island Beach park yesterday. It was very clean. Parking was super easy. Beach area is really wide and there are plenty of shells for those looking for some. Closest place to eat is a few miles away. So you better pack your own snacks and beverages. There were lots of people fishing. We didn’t see a lot of wildlife. Just a few sea turtles.

Round Island Riverside Park - Vero Beach J Pappadouplos: Round Island is the perfect place for a relaxing morning of kayaking/paddleboarding. Peaceful and if you are lucky you will see a dolphin or two and manatees!

Vero Beach Adventure Tours - Vero Beach Millie Newshan: We visited Vero Beach in September. Carmen & Rodney were wonderful tour guides. They were patient and encouraging during our fat tire e-bike tour. Rodney was full of historical knowledge and Carmen kept us safe and took pictures when a photo opp presented itself. Carmen had certain backgrounds in mind in order to tell an interesting story with the picture. Highly recommend them.

McLarty Treasure Museum - Vero Beach Liz DeHaan: A unique collection of artifacts from the 1715 Spanish Treasure Fleet. The disaster occurred when a Spanish fleet sank during a hurricane. The storm sinking several ships, treasures were lost, but some have been recovered over the years. Treasure hunters continue to search for the remaining treasures that covers miles of coastline. The museum exhibits treasures recovered, including gold, silver, and other precious items. Visitors can explore exhibits featuring artifacts from the shipwrecks, as well as learn about the history of the treasure fleet from knowledgeable local historians. The museum has a beach nice white sand. Enjoy!

Lagoon Greenway - Christine McCully: A lush green trail with many people walking their dogs. Gators are present so be careful. An amazing hike through the mangroves to the lagoon.

Environmental Learning Center - Vero Beach Deborah Fink: We had an incredible trip. We were happily surprised there were no bugs at a sunset trip. The ride was informative and we saw an incredible amount of birds and a few dolphin, learned a lot about the area from a nature and historical perspective. The binoculars were a nice touch. Our guests range from 11 to 64 and everyone found something to enjoy.

Treasure Shores Park - Vero Beach Lauren & Cheyne Dean: As a photographer, this park is so dreamy to visit. I always recommend this beach to my clients who are looking to have an engagement session or those who want to capture lifelong memories with family photos.
