5 /5 Liz DeHaan: A unique collection of artifacts from the 1715 Spanish Treasure Fleet. The disaster occurred when a Spanish fleet sank during a hurricane. The storm sinking several ships, treasures were lost, but some have been recovered over the years. Treasure hunters continue to search for the remaining treasures that covers miles of coastline. The museum exhibits treasures recovered, including gold, silver, and other precious items. Visitors can explore exhibits featuring artifacts from the shipwrecks, as well as learn about the history of the treasure fleet from knowledgeable local historians. The museum has a beach nice white sand. Enjoy!

5 /5 Jim Dees: For only $2 was able to learn all about the 1715 Treasure fleet that sank here just off the coast. A very interesting 45 minute video, and lots of artifacts inside the museum. It was a good value for the dollar.

5 /5 Nicole Hill: **An Amazing Journey Through History!** We had such a fantastic experience here! There’s so much to see and learn, with endless artifacts to explore at every turn. While we didn’t catch the 45-minute video this time, it’s definitely on our list for our next visit—because we will be back! A great bonus for families: there’s a fun activity for kids, and completing it earns them a special “gold or silver coin”—our 9-year-old absolutely loved it! Most of the display cases come with interactive speaker boxes that give fascinating insights about the exhibits, making everything feel even more alive. The volunteers truly know their stuff and were incredibly friendly, helping bring the displays to life with their knowledge. Since it’s volunteer-run, I’d recommend calling ahead to confirm their hours. And don’t miss the outdoor boardwalk! It’s not only beautiful but also lined with informative panels, and there’s even a “pirate ship” lookout that adds an extra touch of adventure. Whether youre a history buff or just looking for a fun family outing, this place is a hidden gem! And for only $2 entry per person the price can’t be beat!

Treasure Shores Park - Vero Beach Lauren & Cheyne Dean: As a photographer, this park is so dreamy to visit. I always recommend this beach to my clients who are looking to have an engagement session or those who want to capture lifelong memories with family photos.

Golden Sands Park - Vero Beach Nicholas K: Golden Sands is a gorgeous beach to take your family, so long as you don’t want to swim. This beach is realistically meant for shell enthusiasts who are looking to add to their collection. Un fortunately, the current is usually tough and swimming is not easily an option. Also, be careful with children. There were tons of man o wars out in seaweed pods near the water.

Turtle Trail Beach Access - Vero Beach Laurie B: Sign heading onto the beach is misleading. It says "Dogs not allowed in park." The beach is not the park. Leashed dogs are allowed on Indian River Shores beaches at all times (verified on citys public beach access page). Unleashed dogs are allowed from about sunrise to 9am but must be registered first. Beach is very nice and was not crowded when we were there. People were very nice and we did see other leashed dogs. I took off a star as there are no amenities such as foot wash but that was not really a big deal for us.

Indian River - Vero Beach to Ft. Pierce Aquatic Preserve - Journey Beyond Overland: A pretty area for boating and sailing. Several derelict boats from hurricanes past are poignant reminders of how quickly weather can turn. Lots of birds and occasional dolphin sightings.

Treasure Coast Cruises - Vero Beach john young: Great Captain Great Boat Great Time! Kirby went out of his way to showcase local wildlife (dolphins, manatees and numerous birds) to our children. Looking forward to our next charter!

Jackson Blue Springs - Marianna Wind Tree Studios: This beautiful first magnitude spring has something for everybody. The immediate area around the spring head is very well developed with picnic pavilions and even the sand pit for volleyball. There are even boat rides to go down river and enjoy the beauty of the natural surroundings. Most astonishingly, is the huge underwater cave system here that divers love to enjoy and explore. Apparently there are several miles of explored caves accessible from this spring.

Jennings Park - Marianna Jamie Phillips: Looks like the city has given up on maintenance for this park. Id say its essentially closed. Theres peeling rust on the equipment, the road to the "parking lot" had grown over, and the bathroom looks like a miniature heroin den. Would not recommend.

Florida Caverns Tours and Gift Shop - Marianna C E: The caverns are beautiful! The rooms are not as large as taller caverns in other states, but there are more formations than in other caverns I have visited. The view is up close and personal. Our tour guide, Jules, was very knowledgeable about the caverns. Definitely put these caverns on your Florida bucket list!

Hinson Conservation & Recreation Area - Parrish Stephanie (Buckee): Ive lived in this area my entire life and never knew this gem was so close. This place is so beautiful. There are walking trails. There are caves. We were able to walk into the caves which was absolutely incredible. We only found one but apparently there are more somewhere. The walking trails are right beside the Chipola River. There is a railroad bridge down one trail. There are picnic tables for usage. And a smalll boat ramp for launching your boat. Im gonna be posting some pics from our outing. Definitely gonna be going back soon.

Madison Street Park - Marianna Harrison Hogan Annette (AHarrisonH): My grandson enjoyed himself so much here. He said that Blue Springs was too cold for him, so we stopped here. He loved it. Wish they had play area with swings, but very nice splash park.
