5 /5 Jacob Winge: FIVE STARS! I was traveling and just called this shop because they were close to where my vehicle stalled. They recommended a great tow truck and when I got there they immediately took my car in and ran diagnostics to troubleshoot and get me back on the round safe and sound. We all have a local shop we trust, the one that does our oil changes, installs breaks etc... but when you are out of town, who do you call? I cannot recommend them enough for knowledgeable, fast, friendly service! Huge props to this great, local business. No frills, high quality and there when you need them most!

Always addressing my concerns and making sure the reason I go in there is taken care of the first time around. All of their techs are certified and have extensive knowledge on how to properly work on a vehicle. Definitely would rate this business 5 stars. Until next time!

3 /5 Sarah Downey: Update: I returned for another service and have had ongoing issues with communication and getting work completed. They don’t call with updates before the end of business day or tell you how long they expect to need to keep your car. I have to call and check in multiple times and persistently take the initiative to get any information. This makes it very hard to plan when you’re without your vehicle! I am still waiting on two secondary issues to be resolved from my recent service, one of which is a safety concern from their haphazard reassembly of my passenger door. I will update my review if they come through, but so far I’ve spent 4 business days over two weeks dealing with this and have more problems than I had before. The techs seem to be hardworking but the shop might be overloaded and inefficient. Not satisfied! —— Had a great experience here for an oil change. They did an inspection resulting in multiple recommendations (most of which I already had on my radar from other places), which they sent digitally and then took the time to discuss thoroughly. I didn’t feel pressured at all to do the other repairs, but they were fully transparent and realistic about each item and automatically provided an estimate for each on the printout. I got the impression they are happy to explain things here. Lots of happy customers came in and out while I waited - plus they offer complimentary Uber rides if you need to get somewhere! I plan to go back for future service. Overall a very pleasant morning here! :)

1 /5 Jon Edmunds: “CONSUMER BE AWARE” I recently went to Jim Taylor’s Automotive for an A/C problem and although they resolved the problem satisfactory, I would not recommend them or use their services again. First I’ll first provide what they did well: 1. Provided a free of charge Uber upon dropping off my vehicle off so I could get back home. 2. Very polite demeanor (but be aware). 3. Resolved my A/C issue for the price quoted. But here’s the problem and it’s a HUGE problem because honesty is paramount. Upon picking up my car they recommended several services that were totally not necessary, nor even recommended at my vehicle’s current mileage (62k) 1. They recommended to have my vehicle’s spark plugs changed for no other reason than mileage. HOWEVER the owner’s manual says to change them at 99,750 miles, not (62k). They should know that. 2. Advised that my water pump was leaking and showed me a picture of a very small amount of very, very old dried antifreeze near the water pump. Water pump was not leaking. Previously looked at by other mechanic. 3. Recommended I replace my tires. My tires were literally less than one year old with less than 10k miles on them. Not worn. 4. Recommended transmission service. Though they never inquired if it was previously serviced, even though it shows in Carfax it was serviced at 50k. All of the above unwarranted services would have cost several thousands of dollars $$$$$. For trying to sell me services that were definitely not necessary nor prescribed by the manufacturer’s designated service interval, I would steer clear of Jim Taylor’s Automotive.
