4 /5 Vanessa P.: Notice: They got hit hard by the hurricanes so not every shop or restaurant is back in business but please support them for a quick recovery! Really fun place with a great atmosphere. Surely it’s a tourist spot so parking is normally limited and prices are a bit high. But nevertheless it’s worth a visit because of the atmosphere, view and great selection of shops and restaurants.

5 /5 Sarah Cross: John’s Pass and Boardwalk has been one of my favorite places to visit ever since I was little, and no matter how many times I come back, it’s still just as fun. The beautiful waterfront views, the lively atmosphere, and the variety of touristy shops make it such a great spot to explore. Whether you’re looking for souvenirs, unique gifts, or beach gear, there’s always something interesting to browse. The restaurants and bars along the boardwalk offer great seafood and drinks, and if you’re lucky, you might even spot dolphins playing in the water while you eat. One downside is that parking can be a bit tricky, especially during peak hours. The lots fill up quickly, so getting there early or being patient while looking for a spot is definitely a good idea. Also, watch out for the birds—there are plenty of them around, which is great for bird watchers but not so great if you end up in the wrong spot at the wrong time! That said, it’s a fantastic place to watch boats come and go, and there are plenty of sightseeing tours if you want to get out on the water. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or have been coming for years like me, John’s Pass is always a great stop!

4 /5 Crystal Pakalniskis: We really enjoyed the atmosphere and seeing all the dolphins in the water. We did not enjoy the shop taking advantage, telling one price and charging something totally different!! Just be sure to ask for the total price of something before you buy!!!

4 /5 Rob Lermond: Very nice place to go for souvenir shopping. Just make sure you shop all the stores before you make some of your final purchases. A lot of the stores have the same things but different prices. Parking can get expensive $4.45 an hour.

St. Petersburg Museum of History - St. Petersburg Melanie M: We walked in early afternoon today as we have the NARM membership so in my mind, it would’ve been a free visit. The woman at the front desk was rude and condescending after I asked why this particular museum didn’t take it, “she said then everyone would just walk in for free”, yes that’s the point of having a reciprocal membership. Anyway, we paid the $15/person entrance fee, honestly it should’ve been $5/person. It took us less than one hr to browse the semi empty, cold museum. There is currently the largest baseball exhibit my husband liked, a lot of war photos and info, voting in St Pete women’s rights area and some local art. It is a decent museum to stop in if visiting the St Pete Pier and/or dining next door, Perry’s Porch…now that’s a 5⭐️ experience.

Egmont Key National Wildlife Refuge - Corey Foxworth: Old Florida right off our coast in the mouth of Tampa Bay! Rustic natural version of old Florida. Bring chairs, Umbrella and good vibes. Walk and explore the island or find a comfortable spot and relax and connect with nature. Still recovering from last storm season but worth the trip . I highly recommend.

Gizella Kopsick Palm Arboretum - St. Petersburg Krystal Gruner: Just take a moment to find the trail, and you will enter into a different world than the one of beach playing. This one is a wonderful world of palms! I have lived in Florida for 10 years now and had no idea of so many species of palms! I recommend the adventure club app to get to really know these trees and areas. My boyfriend and I seek arboretums out in every town we visit, each one has a different vibe, all good ones too! Highly recommend YOU find them hiding all around the United States. This one was special. It is home to a specific tree type, 800 species! What?! It was a beautiful day with an amazing person. Well, are you on your way there yet? Free always ends up being the best adventure times.

The James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art - St. Petersburg sarah bee: I have wanted to come here for years, and I am so happy we made it. Wow, the amount of artwork hidden inside this gem was breathtaking. This museum is not to be missed, if you are a local, or visiting, make time for this museum, you will not regret it. We needed so much more time as we got there pretty late in the day, but $10 Tuesdays have my name all over them. The artwork is some of the most breathtaking I’ve seen. The artist’s various techniques were both hyper realistic and surreal all at the same time, and very unique. The landscapes, the way the mist and clouds were painted was really amazing and the colors the artists achieved and brushstrokes are just like I’ve not really seen before. I could’ve easily spent double the amount of time here.

Boyd Hill Nature Preserve Visitor Center - Tahmea Witchard: i havent been inside to tour the nature but ive been to their park and spoke with their staff and everyone is kind and approachable, i actually lost my iphone one time visiting and a group of kids on a field trip returned it to the front desk and i was able to get it back,but i love that theres a small playground to play on so that way if you dont want to or dont have the momey to your kid can still play and have fun outside of the nature trail ,on the inside of the building there are snacks and beverages that you can purchase at low cost as low as 50¢ and they also have noveltys etc, i think its nice i do recommend

Bay Vista Park - St. Petersburg Elizabeth Gee: Always a great spot to sit and enjoy some peace. Small park is great for fishing, picnics, walking, or getting some sun. Photograph opportunities include wading birds, seabirds, tidal offerings, and the Skyway Bridge. If you arrive early enough, you can also enjoy and photograph beautiful sunrise scenes over the Bay.

Gandy Beach Mangroves - St. Petersburg Zach MacDonald: A very peaceful and tranquil place to chill out when you can get your own mangrove, which isnt too difficult during off-peak hours. Surprisingly quiet given its right off Gandy.
