Our family celebrated our kiddo turning 21 with this class that came with a side of drinks, knowledge and laughs that cannot be made elsewhere! The souvenir glass, muddler and spoon were a huge bonus. A few classmates left and hung out together after at another establishment. Indelible memories!

I tried the 160 proof rum the tour guide lets you have a little try of. And it was pretty smooth considering the proof. Glad we did the tour. Come and take a look. I bet they have something you’ll like.

When I planned my 50th birthday celebration, I reached out to Crystal via email to reserve a spot in her mojito class. To my delight, when we arrived, the venue was adorned with happy birthday banners, and Crystal had even prepared a special birthday crown for me. Such thoughtful gestures made the experience even more memorable. Aside from the enthralling class, Key West Legal Rum also offers freshly made piña coladas daily, showcasing some of the best rum you’ll ever taste. The ambiance, the company, and the delicious drinks combined created a highlight of our trip to Key West. I wholeheartedly recommend this mojito class to anyone visiting. Captain George Carey House - Key West Jason Braun: This house was built in 1834 by Captain George Carey, a wealthy Englishman who ran a seaport bar and wholesale liquor business. The original house, which is likely the second oldest structure in Key West, was quite small, consisting of two rooms and a separate cookhouse at the rear of the property. In 1844, Captain Carey enlarged the house to its current size for his bride, a German woman who, along with her four sisters, was rescued from a shipwreck off the coast of the island. Careys bride and her sisters all married men from Key West and the shipwreck has come to be known as the "Wreck of the German Brides. "

Turtle Cannery Museum - Key West Diana Chira: We explored the area and found this really nice museum! Worth a walk to see whats inside and get some memorabilia!

Pirate Playground - Fernandina Beach Amanda Blake: Best playground we have been to! We were on vacation and needed a place for the kiddos to run around. They would have stayed there all day if we let them! So much for going to all the exciting "tourist attractions" we planned. They had so much fun here. It was all they talked about. Free playground and so many fun activities for them. Make sure to put a lot of sunscreen on them!

Amelia Island Museum of History - Fernandina Beach Billy ODell: The museum was really nice. We learned a lot about Amelia Island since it was our first time coming there for our date day. It was very hands-on and that’s what we like. Wasn’t very busy. It was a Saturday, We were the only people in there so you pretty much felt like you have the place to yourself which is nice so you’re not having to bump into a whole lot of people trying to see the same thing! Very informative!! The lady who works at the front desk is very nice also! The only downfall is it was a little on the expensive side, I think, it was $10 per adult.

Main Beach Park - Fernandina Beach Robin Buckley-Baird: Very relaxing! Clean, friendly people. Nice walking paths (boards). Lots of dogs. Much different than what Im used to. I wouldnt walk barefoot in that rough sand. I wonder if some bad owners dont pick up their dogs poop?

Peters Point Beachfront Park - Fernandina Beach Robert Builder: Very beautiful beach filled with an amazing cast of characters. A teenage girl eating sand and screaming like a dog. An older gentleman, very hard to understand telling a story that was incomprehensible. Also the usual hot girls and beach boys.

Fort Clinch State Park - Fernandina Beach Linda P: We accessed the park on a rented “ arcimoto” electric 3 wheel vehicle . I highly recommend seeing the park this way or on a bike to get immersed. Facts about the park can be found on the website. I want to add some directions to navigating the park instead. There are basically two places to see if visiting for an hour or two. The fort and the beach. See the photos to orient. First sign you come to is clearly marked beach to the right - you could spend an hour or a day there! Straight ahead is the fort. We did take at least an hour to tour. The video and small museum are informative. The fort property is interesting and well staged. Just to see the tree canopy and Spanish moss was interesting. Side turn offs are separate camping areas etc. Check out the park map!

A.L. Lewis Museum at American Beach - Fernandina Beach Sharon Seago: This was a very interesting small museum explaining the history of American Beach. The museum has a video and tablets with a couple of short oral history segments as well as exhibits. They will be celebrating an anniversary February 1, 2025! The Director and volunteer were welcoming and helpful in answering questions.Admission was $8 for seniors and $10 for adults.
