LaBelle Nature Park - LaBelle (FL)

5 /5 Anne Amor: LeBelle Nature Park is a short but scenic trail, heavy with foliage that makes you feel completely off the grid. It’s the kind of place where you can just get lost in nature for a bit, away from the noise. Parts of the trail run along the water, though it’s mostly raised rather than a beach—except for one small spot near a pavilion where I could climb down. The best part? Dogs are allowed, which was a huge plus for me. It’s not a long hike, but it’s a great spot for a quiet, refreshing walk with my pup. Definitely glad to have found it.

5 /5 Tanner Roan: Sweet little park leading up the the Caloosahatchee River. Harvested about a half pound of Surinam cherries! Trails are well kept. “Real Florida” vibe

4 /5 Ariana Betancur: Perfect place to distress, long enough hike to get clarity but short enough to not feel like a workout. Stop and sit at the bench by the water and enjoy the beautiful view of the Caloosahatchee River.

5 /5 Don Randino: A nice place to go for a afternoon stroll! Trails are clean and fairly easy to walk through no big trees or brush in the way. Leads the river with some really nice views. You can also hang out at the shelter that offers seating by the river. There are park benches through the trail so if tired you can take a break. You will run into wild life like turtles and rabbits so keep any eye out for holes they make. It did seem like there maybe homeless people camping in the park so just be aware incase you see someone or something walking through the brush you wont confuse for Bigfoot.

3 /5 Maria P Richter: One of our favorite places to go for a little slice of what Florida was once was. A safe haven for Gopher Tortoises and the Zebra Long Wing Butterfly. They both graced us with photo ops today. There are many wildflowers that grow here and visits through the year reveal when you will see them. On the downside, it appears that there is boat debris in the water and trash to be picked or someone may be living there.
