5 /5 Amanda E: Basic campground. Vault/pit toilets. No water, no electricity. Quiet and peaceful during my stay. Great views from the fishing pier. Lots of squirrels scurrying about. Picnic table and fire pit at each campsite. Raised parking pad with gravel. You will have to maneuver a well maintained 2.6 mile dirt road in order to access this campground. It became a bit muddy and precarious when it rained but they brought in heavy equipment to level it back out. Rangers come around periodically to clean the bathroom and empty the trash cans. There are no large dumpsters at this location so use small bags when discarding garbage. Theres also a small boat ramp for those interested.

5 /5 Frankie S: Fort Braden Trails are amazing! Moderate difficulty long trails that lead through streams to the edge of Lake Talquin. Saw several Ospreys, Hawks, Falcons and a Bald Eagle. Also spotted water snakes and alligators.

5 /5 Roy Boston: Close to town, but a deep woods feel. Access to Ochlocknee River to do some bank fishing. Please dont litter!

Fort Fanning - Fanning Springs Ken H: Not much to do, but park is in a nice open area with a grand entrance. There are a few benches inside that are paired up in individual seating areas. The park is waterfront so it has a nice and relaxing overlook of the water. Extra points because there are additional park areas across the street.

Quilt Museum - Trenton Jeffrey Brady: Unfortunately, the Quilt Museum has been closed both times I have visited Trenton, but reading the placards on the outside of the building was informative.

Constitution Convention Museum State Park - Port St Joe Ashley Gilmore-Sanders: The Constitution Convention Museum in Port St. Joe is small, but excellent. The park ranger, Joanna Lindsey was wonderful. She was full of information about the history of the area and she spent quite a bit of time talking with my daughter about everything from the constitution and yellow fever ravaging the town to local ghost stories. My daughter could have listened to her for hours. She clearly has a love for her job. We will definitely visit again when in Port St. Joe.

George Core Park (Lighthouse Park) - Momma Bear: Beautiful place. Warning though if your child is not a certain height they cannot Climb the tower. We were disappointed I had 4 kiddos only 2 could climb so we didnt do it.

Frank Pate Park - Jennifer Thomas Archer: This was a beautiful park. It was very quiet, clean and a breath of fresh air. Our toddler lived playing on the pirate ship playground while we swung under a nearby tree. There were a handful of families, fisherman and workers working on the nearby building.

Cape San Blas Lighthouse - Port St Joe BEE KOOL: Very cool lighthouse and with fabulous views. It is taller than it looks. I would not recommend purchasing tickets at the visitor center if you have any phobias of tight spaces or heights. There is also a height restriction for children who are under about 4ft due to safety reasons. The stairs are narrow and quite steep and it is a trek to climb up but the view is spectacular. The grounds lead out to the shore. There are picnic areas. Great place to walk to from downtown.
