5 /5 Mariah Bridges: I went here with my dog and we had a wonderful time! Plenty of wildlife and even some wildflowers. There is plenty to learn see and experience here and its kept very clean. Great atmosphere, kid friendly and pet friendly!

5 /5 Thomas Soracco: I stopped by for a short visit to get a bit of nature and was quite surprised at what a lovely park this place is. It is a nature preserve and so no playgrounds and such but there are places to sit. There are lovely boardwalk trails through the trees and around the pond. Not a big place and the trails are relatively short and easy. Highly recommended.

5 /5 Nicole Lynn: Great field of wildflowes in the spring for photos. It gets very busy though so Id recommend a weekday and getting there a decent amount of time before sunset for the best lighting to grab a good spot! There is also a hill where the sun sets behind the field so sunset time is a bit earlier then expected time.

5 /5 Dove Knafo: Serene spot to listen to the birds sing, watch the turtles, learn about plants, and walk around the water! Dogs are welcome, most paths are paved. Such a beautiful spot in Largo to enjoy the nature

Eagle Lake Park - Largo B Diddy: Great walking trails, on path and off path. Beautiful lake views and plenty of picnic tables and places to sit along the path. Pet friendly, with a dog park and plenty of places to walk your dog and let them explore while you get your exercise! Has a playground, restrooms and plenty of places to walk around and enjoy nature.

Splash Harbour Water Park - Indian Rocks Beach Candy Bailey-Gray: What a great place to spend the day with your children of any age. Small enough to feel safe to let your kids roam around and have fun but big enough to have fun all day!!! Price is pretty reasonable!! I live in the area and will definitely go back with all of our family and friend visitors.

John S. Taylor Park - Largo perc powell: Nice park. Quite large and lots of shade trees. The lake worries me with kids or pets. Any lake that large in Florida has to have gators?

Indian Rocks Beach Nature Preserve - Indian Rocks Beach William Williams: Although I visited around 4:00 pm and wasnt sure if I would find much activity on the water I was able to watch numerous striped mullets jumping. Also, I captured slow motion video of a pelican enjoying diving for several of the mullets. Theres also a very nice dog park and playground before going out on the boardwalk.

Butterfly Garden - Largo Kaydee: The butterfly garden was a fun FREE activity that my family and I enjoyed. We were able to walk through the tropical fruit garden and see the various fruits in bloom. My favorite was the butterfly garden and seeing the variety of butterflies. There was a playground for the kids to enjoy although I think they really enjoyed being able to see the turtles sun bathing more.

Tiki Gardens - Indian Shores Beach Access - Indian Shores Mariellen T.: Excellent historical area dedicated to the Native Americans of Indian Shores! Ample parking, as well as restrooms, washing station (beach side), and great location. Must pay to park.

House of Seven Gables - Largo Robyn Timmons: I was so excited to have a tour because the last time I went it was under construction. This house is absolutely breathtaking!

Mary Holland Park - Bartow Heather Spence: Beautiful Park! Love love the sidewalk... However it really sucks when dog owners do not pick up after their loved one; no one wants shit on their shoes! Please clean up after your babies!!

Polks Nature Discovery Center - Lakeland Jessica D: What a lovely area to see alligators and other wildlife in the wild, without the harm of forced animal encounters - and best of all, it was free! Saw some adorable baby gators and lots of wildlife throughout. Other visitors on the trails were helpful in pointing out animals they had seen on their nature walks. The trails we went on were clean and big enough for bikes or strollers.
