1 /5 Sara Garcia: If you love your family member, dont bring them here! My son is there right now, its frustrating to watch from the time you get to the front desk until someone brings you up. The nurses do their shift change during visiting hours, so if you get there 20 minutes before the end of the hour, you wont be able to get in because theyre busy with their shift change. If you call to check on your family member, they dont answer the phone. In 2 hours Ive left 7 unanswered messages. They say theyre a detox center and when I get through on the phone, they dont have a solution for marijuana or cocaine. I dont trust their labs and no matter how much help you need to find out about your family member, youre not going to get it. We need better places to help those in need, better supervisors to see whats really going on.

5 /5 HMM HMM: I only have great things to say about Larkin. Michelle is the most wonderful human being I have met in a long time with the most common sense also. She truly cares about people. I am in awe at how she handles everything with such ease. Thanks to Michelle, my veteran son is getting the much needed help he deserves. She has guided us through the whole Marchman Act process. My son is now receiving the CORRECT help for his condition. I am so grateful that Michelle has helped save my sons life. The staff at Larkin were all very professional and compassionate. They were very well organized and the facility was very clean.

5 /5 roger thomas: My son, Michael, was admitted to Larkin after he had spent time at another facility. Thank God we found Larkin and the fantastic people that work there. The love and care they provided is second to none. Ms. V. was instrumental in getting my son grounded. She had a family counsel session with Michael, his mom and I. She was so straight forward, upfront and really was a breath of fresh air. Her no nonsense style helps those in need. Even after Michael left, she has checked in numerous times to see how he and our family are doing. Michele Prues is fantastic and helped me tremendously with working on the court proceedings. To this day, Michele is still there guiding me on the best for our son. Hector was instrumental in sharing what works and doesnt work for addicts. His insight was very valuable in setting up my game plan for my son. All the front desk workers were friendly and always willing to help. Otis was able to make me laugh in the hardest of times. If it were not for these extraordinary individuals I wouldnt have been able to get through this devastating family emergency. Forever grateful, Mike Sr

1 /5 Tim Rolling: Avoid this place at all cost the staff is very unprofessional,uncaring,and will twist and miss lead you especially when you question the how or why coming is being done to your loved one and by the way I had signed paper saying I had permission to talk to the doctor and the doctor was to tell me not only did my girl miss treated but me as a family member over 300 miles away have been treated like I’m a idiot well I’m not but I am very tenacious when it comes to my family and being able to at the very least talk to her with out her having to get up out of her hospital bed and walk down the hallway to a day room besides she admitted herself to another facility another facility just dropped her off here but they treated her like she’s just some lowlife scum and she’s not she’s my my girl you know I’m going out to get this right somebody messed up. They kept their baker actually told me she acted. She was not we could’ve took her home. I could’ve got it back up there where we lived with our doctors locals and not 300 miles away from me and the rest of the people that know her they could help her know they keep them here and come to find out they didn’t bake after not till after I started snooping until they got upset and so what they do they talk to doctor in the Baker after her on Tuesday so now she’s here till Friday again this is crazy. She’s already been detox before I know what this is. I’ve been three times with her and they act like I’m a fool.

5 /5 jocelyn mora: Staff was great. This location was a clinical site for me and the amount of help and dedication the nurses and administrators provide to the patients is amazing. From witnessing deescalation techniques to the use of therapeutic communication. The staff here is competent and well trained in times of crisis. Professor Martinez really provided us with the knowledge and understanding of various concepts in this facility. Christian B was also a big help, jumping at any opportunity to help clarify any confusion we encountered. They really demonstrated that if you love what you do it doesn’t feel like a job. Thank you for having us.
