1 /5 ken cadieux: I had a telephone appointment set that the doctor did not keep. So I called 15 minutes later and was told that the doctor had called. This was a total lie as my call log confirmed. I was told that he was with a patient and wouldn’t have time to call. So I set up a new appointment for two days later and again I didn’t receive a call. What a shame that since Cano took over this practice it’s the worst office I have ever experienced. I have had other issues with them as well.

1 /5 Gina Hassut: Called several times for an appointment and I was put on hold 30+ minutes each time. Some of us are at work during the day and can’t spend hours waiting on the phone. I eventually gave up and found a new primary care. This place is horrible. I’m honestly not sure if they’re even still open but checked the website and phone number and contact information I have is correct. Glad I never got an appointment. I can’t wait hours to see a doctor like other reviewers are saying. Go somewhere else.

1 /5 Herb: I have had 2 appointments with Dr Pedro Castellanos at this location which he didnt bother to show up for. One last December and then a so called phone appointment arranged by the office in April which was to be at 10 am, I was home until 6 pm he didnt even bother to call. This guy has to be the worse doctor in the world. good bye

1 /5 Rachael Gutierrez: To give this review had to give 1 star or I would not even give this star. WORST customer service ever. Not organized, has no idea whats going on. Pembroke Pines office is HORRIBLE. They dont even know how to use their own portal. Cat spell anything right, even after giving them the form they have you fill out. Cant seem to get referrals out and dealt with in a timely manner. When you call for info and ask for info they cant even get that together. Also their restroom is filthy and there staff is not professional one bit. Appointments at the end of the day and the staffs conversations through the halls is unprofessional. This place is not a place I would return to nor recommend.

1 /5 Randy Gonzalez: Today was my first visit at the Memorial Hospital West location. Ive been associated as a patient with this group for years out of their office located on University, across from Memorial Pembroke. I arrived for my 10:45am appointment after fasting since the day before to allow for labs to be drawn. I was called within 5 minutes after updating my paperwork. I was taken to a room to await the doctor. Before departing, the nurse informed me the doctor would be in soon as I had one person ahead of me. The time is now 11:00am. After approximately 20 minutes, the nurse popped her head into my room to tell me the doctor was almost done and would see me soon. The time is now 11:20am Later, I hear someone ask in Spanish if someone was in room 5 (my room) and they knocked on the door. I acknowledged and heard them say, "Is someone is in there". The time is now 11:45am. Im really hungry now and getting angry. I continue to entertain myself on my phone when I start to think that this is taking a bit too long. I thinking Im gonna stand up and peek out into the hallway. I contain myself because I didnt want to be "that guy". I look and its 12:05pm. My phone is blowing up because my lunch group is waiting for me for over 30 minutes. At approximately 12:10pm, the nurse pops her head into my room informing me the doctor is just finishing up and will be with me in a minute. I stood up and said, "No disrespect, but I dont need this. Im not dying and was only there for an annual physical. Im outta here..." The poor young lady looked alarmed. She attempted to tell me the doctor was coming. Im thinking, so is Christmas. When I exited the office, I told the receptionist to toss my file because I was leaving. She looked more startles than the nurse. I told her I wasnt seen and was leaving. This was done civil of course as I never embarrass myself in public. Long story short, they forgot about me. I was wondering if they would take their 2 hour office lunch and actually leave me in there. That didnt happen. Do not visit this group. Organizational culture like disease is contagious. Find somewhere else to go if you want a group that puts the patient first. Good luck! PS...lunch was amazing!!!

Memorial Regional Hospital Emergency Room - Hollywood Rick Albaugh: EVERYONE who I encountered here was just fantastic! From greeting us when we came in, to taking vitals in the lobby, to the doctors and nurses all through my short stay. They were VERY efficient and super kind. Tommy was the absolute best! Mark D Chin-Lenn, MD - Hollywood K. Chance: THE DISRESPECT!!! I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at this medical facility . I had been trying for few days to reach the office to reschedule my appointment, but their phone is rarely answered. When I finally got through early in the morning, the receptionist told me the lines are “very busy,” which was frustrating given how difficult it had been to get in touch. During our conversation, she abruptly hung up on me, which was incredibly rude and unprofessional. To make matters worse, she informed me that I would be charged a $25 fee just for rescheduling—not canceling—which made no sense to me. I understand a cancellation fee, but charging for simply adjusting an appointment seems unreasonable. I decided to visit the office in person to address my concerns with the manager, expecting a fair resolution. Unfortunately, instead of taking my complaint seriously, the manager dismissed me and seemed to take the receptionist’s side without even acknowledging my experience.and at some point he said don’t worry the $25 / fee - That’s not the point. Where is the customer service at this place ??? I’m certainly not comfortable visiting this facility anymore . It’s kind of sad because I love the lady that takes the bloodwork (Patty) , she’s amazing-She’s so gently with the veins . This kind of treatment is unacceptable in a medical setting where professionalism and respect should be a priority. Patients deserve better communication and courtesy, and unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I would caution others about the lack of proper customer service at this facility.

Marika Fraser, MD - Hollywood Television Tv: I had the most horrific experience with Dr. Marika Fraser. I had her perform a septoplasty to fix a deviated septum while working together with another surgeon to perform a rhinoplasty. After surgery, I was left with a severely internally damaged nose. After surgery I suffered from nasal valve collapse and excessive bleeding which did not stop for months. I could not breathe properly at all. At follow up appointments, I asked to see the doctor, but she was never available. After demanding to see the doctor, I finally got an appointment with her. Dr. Fraser came into the room with the worst and most unprofessional attitude I have ever seen from anyone working in medicine. With the most rude tone, she said "Do you understand how surgery works?!" Those were the exact words that she furiously yelled at me. I explained to her that I only understood my own discomfort and my inability to breathe, as well as my nasal valve collapse. I also told her I came to resolve the issue, not to fight. Again, in an extremely rude and defensive tone she said " Are we fighting? Is this fighting?!" Dr. Fraser proceeded to condescendingly tell me that she had done her job and that my septum and turbinates were fixed. The nasal valve collapse, dripping and bleeding she completely blamed on the other surgeon, who worked on my nose alongside her. Dr. Fraser showed absolutely no care or empathy. "You need to find someone who can fix that, cause its not my problem, if it was, I would be on it like white on rice" are the exact words she said to me. Absolutely unprofessional and appalling. I was disgusted. Finding "someone who could fix that" meant finding a new surgeon (Which I did). I have since had to find a new ENT/plastic surgeon and have since spent an additional $27,000+ for revision rhinoplasty, septoplasty and hyperbaric oxygen therapy to fix the damage Dr. Fraser caused. My new surgeon also told me my septum was never properly fixed and that it actually had damage and multiple perforations. I feel cheated and lied to in addition to all the pain and suffering Dr. Fraser put me through. Not to mention the financial burden that I had to endure to be able to breathe properly again. If you are looking to fix a deviated septum and breathe properly, please do not risk your health with Dr. Marika Fraser, go elsewhere and seek a professional who is Double Board Certified in Otolaryngology (AAO-HNS) and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Brijesh P Mehta, MD - Hollywood Jules Levine: I trusted this doctor with my life and it was a trust well-placed. Dr. Mehta, his staff at Memorial Hospital and the facility they work at were recommended and succeeded beyond my expectations. I can speak from personal experience as a former medical employee who has participated in this procedure going back 60 years early in my career.
