5 /5 DNA Picard: Beyond Impressed – 20/10 Experience at Legit Nails! I’ve lived in Broward for over 25 years, and after way too many bad experiences (and toenail infections) from corporate nail chains, I finally gave my nails a much-needed break — over a year to be exact. During that time, I discovered that I actually live right across the street from this amazing mom-and-pop spot, Legit Nails. I had heard great things from several local ladies, but somehow I always forgot the recommendation… until now. Working in an office all day, my hands are constantly on display with paperwork, computers, and phones — so it’s crucial that my nails look clean and professional. On a whim, I walked into Legit Nails, and they graciously took me as a last-minute walk-in. Henry, one of the owners, was an absolute angel. So sweet, so delicate — I have truly never seen anyone cut out an ingrown toenail as professionally and painlessly as he did. It was like butter! I usually butcher my own nails trying to fix it at home (taking half the nail with it and suffering), but Henry had it handled in one gentle snip. The pressure was relieved instantly. We laughed, we chatted, we shared a beautiful, light-hearted moment. Henry spent hours working on my nails, and his patience was something truly special. I’m very picky, and I wasn’t thrilled with the first pink we used for my French polish — it leaned too peach instead of that perfect soft pink/purple base. He could have gotten frustrated (I would have been if I were him!), but instead, he kindly shaved everything off and started again without charging me extra. He even layered different shades carefully, trying to get the exact look I envisioned. Henry is truly an artist — he does hand-drawn designs, offers a huge selection, and clearly takes immense pride in his work. I can’t stop staring at my nails; they look flawless and feel so healthy. Jenny, his wife, is also an absolute doll — so warm, welcoming, and sweet. It’s a family-run business, and you can feel the love and genuine care from the moment you walk in. If you’re tired of corporate rush jobs and infections, and want a team that actually cares about your nails and your experience, run, don’t walk, to Legit Nails. Ask for Henry or Jenny, and tell them Ash — with the little dog Rebel — sent you! Rebel and I loved every minute of it, and we will 10000% be back. Jenny, Henry and each of their staff pay attention to the requests of the customer and strive to provide cleanliness and quality!
