5 /5 Kim Knight: Wonderful experience, especially when the babies are in the nests. Its pretty noisy, but very interesting as there are so many different species. Beautiful walk along the boardwalk. Puts you right into their habitat. Couple covered areas to sit and enjoy the shade. I highly recommend going very early in the morning to avoid the heat, because starting at 10 am, it rises to inferno setting. Great experience for everyone! There are restrooms in the parking area which is great!

5 /5 Janice Bader: Visited mid March 2025 to this amazing wetland! The wildlife was remarkable and very unexpected how close to the boardwalk the beautiful storks and egrets were nesting. My friend was able to navigate with her rolling walker on the boardwalks. We spent about 90 minutes and did not access all of the boardwalk areas. When we arrived around 11:30am there was about a 20 minute wait to get a (free ) parking spot. It’s magical to see so many birds, eggs, and recently hatched birds Loved it!

5 /5 Madison Chacon: What a great find! We can’t believe this beautiful park is completely free. We visited in late May and had a perfect experience — it wasn’t crowded at all, everything was clean, and the park is clearly very well maintained. Parking was super easy and also free, which was a huge plus. We enjoyed a peaceful and scenic walk surrounded by nature. We saw birds nesting, plenty of different species flying around, and even spotted a Swainson’s Hawk! We also came across a turtle, which was such a fun surprise. It’s a lovely spot to unwind, enjoy wildlife, and just take in some fresh air. Highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone looking for a calm and beautiful nature escape!

5 /5 Iryna Zelinska: I visited the park in early April during bird nesting season and got to see many beautiful birds along with their babies. Park is perfect for birdwatching, wildlife viewing (like alligators, turtles, rabbits), and photography—especially at sunrise or sunset. Easy to walk, great for all ages, wear a hat as the boardwalks dont have a lot of shade.

5 /5 Madalina Iordache: My favorite place to bring out of town guests if they want to see Florida wildlife. Lots to see no matter when you come! Came on a hot June day and saw more than a dozen species of birds nesting and with young babies. Bring a hat and sunscreen.

Ocean Ridge Hammock Park - Boynton Beach Mia Fish: Hard to park and people waiting got very aggressive blasting horns giving us hand symbols! But the beach is nice . it was crowded. Water beautiful no life guard. Water for foot wash not working which was unfortunate for our sandy feet. I did not see bathrooms, playground or any amenities just beautiful sand and water. They have tubs if you want to help clean the beach. We saw 2 man of war on the sand.

It felt like we borrowed a rich uncle’s boat for the day—except we actually had Cogan, a captain who knew what he was doing. He was super knowledgeable, easygoing, and took us to the most unreal spots. Crystal-clear water, epic views, and the freedom to just vibe, swim, and soak it all in.

Osprey Park - West Palm Beach Stephanie Diaz: Love this dog park! My puppy loves making friends here. Very clean and family friendly for a relaxing day.

Veterans Park - Royal Palm Beach Gian Rosamilia: Nice park. Quiet and has a breakfast / lunch spot and an ice cream spot!!! So peaceful to walk around and has jazz music playing in the background

Calypso Bay Waterpark - Royal Palm Beach krazy ISH: Fun water park. Not the biggest but it’s great to get out the heat. Reasonably priced. Has 50 m lap pools. Lazy River, playground with water fountains, obstacle courses. My only complaint is that they’re NOT opened year around: it’d be nice if the lap pools could be used year around for exercise

Gulfstream Park - Delray Beach Erika: I liked how quiet it was and it’s a pretty clean beach aside from the common seaweed. There’s buckets provided if you are looking to do some beach cleaning. Small parking space and we did not see any parking meters or anything that said you had to pay.

Ocean Cay Park - Jupiter Viktor Tinev: I visited Ocean Cay Park last weekend and was incredibly impressed by the beauty and maintenance of this park. Walking among the well-kept paths and greenery was a true delight. I especially appreciated the childrens playgrounds, which are safe and suitable for kids of all ages. The atmosphere in the park is perfect for anyone looking for tranquility or wishing to spend active time outdoors. I would wholeheartedly recommend Ocean Cay Park to anyone who values nature and wants to escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a few hours.

Kelsey Park - Lake Park Clyde Sauer: Every last Friday of each month is a free concert in the park from 6-9pm. Food trucks, alcohol and lots of fun

Lantana Nature Preserve - Lantana Melly MelGibson: Nice quiet peaceful place to take a walk, or run. Trail is small only takes about 10 minutes to walk completely if walking a regular to slow pace. Its usually not busy and theres benches all along the trail. Theres not many parking spaces but theres usually not many people there either. There is a pavilion at the entrance of the trail. Also No Bikes, Pets or Smoking is allowed.
