1 /5 Jonathon Magill: I write this with disappointment. Dr. Lee is a wonderful physician, one of few that cares about the patients and not the money. The lady who runs the front desk, on the other hand; is rude, dispassionate, and has to be right above all else. Several times I have heard her say “I made that call myself” and “I personally left a message” not once indicating she actually spoke with a patient or listen to their needs. I am in financial hardship, unable to work, with no income. Hearing I am not eligible for assistance, and then being denied even the opportunity to speak with anyone about my options was disheartening. I was told on the phone, by another receptionist, that I could cancel my doctors appointment, and schedule a financial assistance appointment, with the understanding they would at least listen to my case. I wasted borrowed money to show up to my appointment, only to be turned away at front desk, with an argumentative attitude. I guess that’s Lee Health Care; They care only if you have the money to buy their time.
