1 /5 Robert Chacon: I have gone to this place for years but they are going downhill and FAST. It took 2 1/2 hours for a basic pedicure that they called deluxe (regular polish) and a horrible manicure gel. When I walked through the door I wasn’t greeted like normal, when I asked for the colors they originally only gave me one thing to look at and the rest I had to look at the colors on the wall and imagine how they looked because they were all behind the staff’s seating and not accessible. Finally getting my pedicure with a friend was traumatic as she was in so much pain from the man cutting her she asked numerous times for him to stop and said ouch. I asked for the tech to not cut my nails but shape them and when I looked away he took a clipper to my hands now I need acrylics. He Filed my nails for 45 minutes until I had to tell him to stop that there was no more that he could file. He goes to the color I asked for and couldn’t even find it by the number had to ask me numerous times if it was the right color and I had to show him the color the book they had given. At that point, I was upset and let the owner know. This was the worst experience I have ever had and I had brought many people to their business in the past. The owner apologized and got another tech to finish my nails, and I still was unable to get the Matte color that I asked for originally. My friend got a full set and pedi and was out the door before I was. I was so ashamed that I had recommended this place to my friend that I paid for her toes to be done and when I went to pay Instead of just giving me a discount right away, the owner thanked me for letting her know about the issues and gave me a $15 gift card. However, after this experience, I will not be using the gift card or ever going back. I normally leave a $20 for any service industry job but I couldn’t leave any tip with good conscience. It’s so sad to see such a great business go to waste. I hope they are able to find better help and regain their report. Very sad nail day indeed.
