1 /5 S T: Ive been a patient of Dr Moss since 2018 and have had a great experience overall. However after this latest experience I had I feel the need to share it so others dont go through what I went through. We received an email that starting in 2025 the monthly price would go up from $100 to $150. At my last appointment in November, I told Dr Moss that due to me no longer being employed I would not be coming back as a patient in January. Her response was to let them know if I changed my mind and wanted to keep coming back. We also discussed if she had any recommendations of other doctors closer to my area that I live that did walk in visits. She even sent me a recommendation in the portal. Well January rolls around and I noticed my bank account is over drawn, I had been charged for another month of service. I spoke with the office staff and asked for a refund, they told me I had to send a text stating I was not coming back which I did. Then they texted back that Dr Moss "remembers me thinking about not continuing" and that they werent able to refund me because they need a 30 day notice. This is the first time Im hearing of this, not once was that information given to me when I spoke with Dr Moss at my last appointment and now theyre saying theyre "sorry for the miscommunication." Its unfortunate because I had great experience with Dr Moss for years, but I find this response shady to the situation shady and unprofessional. If its a policy that you have to give a written notice then when the patient states they are not coming back you should make sure they know to give it in writing.
