3 /5 Chelsea Bartlett: I loved my stylist she was amazing, and she’s the reason I’m giving the 3 stars. In March 2024 I called this salon, and told them what I needed done to my hair, which was my hair was orange from me dying it about a year previous, i didn’t want it cut or anything (she did not cut) I just wanted my blonde restored, and color correction. They gave me a price of $200. I was okay with that, so with a $60 tip, I would be leaving spending $260, which $300 was my budget(with the tip)Which I think is reasonable for getting your hair done. I walked into the shop, for my appointment …. they looked at my hair and said okay go have a seat! We get all done with my hair , and it was such a great experience with my stylist. She did so amazing , I loved my hair and the bond we created in the process. I was excited to leave her a pretty hefty tip, as she did a splendid job and exactly what I wanted! I go to checkout and pay, and now they are telling me $267!!!!! Without tip!! So I’m stuck in a dilemma because $300 was my budget, and now I have to leave this lady only $33 tip. I had no extra money to put into this. I just think they should give you the set price like they did with me and it should stick?? The guy told me the reason was because of the color correction, but they already knew this when I discussed what I needed done, they looked at my hair and everything and didn’t say any changes. Had I known that, I would have got up more money to leave a better tip. I will not go back because I don’t want to expect to pay one thing, and it be a lot more then what I expected. If they would have just told me the actual price from the get go I would have figured it out , and not put on the spot like that. I love the stylist, and I feel bad for her because they are making her lose clients and tips (im sure) because of the same exact thing that’s happened to me.
