1 /5 mariah izmailova: I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with my recent nail appointment. I came in simply to have an acrylic refill with a new color — nothing complex or difficult. Instead, I left with nails that look absolutely awful.
For nearly an hour and a half, the technician was cutting down my natural nails that I had grown out, even cutting two of them off without any explanation. She applied excessive acrylic, and my nails turned out bulky, uneven, and far from the shape I asked for. Despite expressing my preferences multiple times throughout the appointment, they were entirely disregarded.
After this disappointing experience, the salon owner told me I didn’t have to pay, which speaks volumes about the service quality. I still tipped the technician $20 out of courtesy, but I left deeply unhappy with the result.
If the technicians aren’t comfortable with certain services, it would be best if they’re reassigned to ensure a better customer experience. This was the worst nail experience I’ve ever had.
