1 /5 Saint: If I could give negative stars I would. When I first went in for an extraction they wanted to charge me 5k to replace it and pushed me to finance that cost. I obviously refused and the service on the extraction was mediocre at best. I was in extreme pain for a week, and no I did not have a dry socket. They were simply so rough getting the tooth out that I was left bruised for a week. After, I was told to come in for a follow up and cleaning. When I came in that appointment I was told I needed to pay $140 for tests and exams, which I don’t need and refused ( I had just had a full exam at my extraction). I was then told that I will have to pay for a cancellation fee. When I inquired why (I showed up on time for my appointment) I was met with “it’s our policy.” I politely wanted to know why they couldn’t get my info from my previous provider and indicated that they previously did an exam before the extraction so I didn’t need another exam two weeks after I just had one. I explained I was not canceling my appointment, I was refusing services I don’t want or need and that weren’t covered under my insurance. I never got a logical explanation other than it’s our policy. They tried to make excuses about bacteria and x-rays but I walk in other dentists after 6 Mo even a year and just go right in for the cleaning. It was at this point that a customer behind me was making noises and when I asked him to stay out of it he became very aggressive, stood up, started yelling at me and at one point threatened me. The biggest shocker of this whole situation is not only did the office personal say nothing as this man is screaming at me and threatening me, they actually applauded him. I never raised my voice, I never was rude I simply was asking questions about a policy and they responded by implying I was stupid for asking. I heard negative things about this business, I read negative reviews, but I couldn’t fathom the extent to which they try to fleece money from people. Do NOT go here!!!!! Not only will they try to sell you procedures you don’t need, they are rude, incompetent and completely disrespectful to customers.
Your response is absolutely false and a complete misrepresentation of what actually happened. I have a right to not only inquire about charges, but I also have the right to contest fraudulent charges. I have a right to do so without being threatened and accosted by customers and treated rudely by staff. You not only allowed a customer to threaten a 57 year old man, you applauded him. For you to portray my behavior as anything but a customer standing up for their consumer rights and inquiring about additional charges I was NEVER made aware of, is both pathetic and unethical, but it goes in line with the many one star reviews I’ve been reading on here and Yelp about your sketchy practices. So please do respond again so those looking to do business here can have even more insight on how you treat customers and take their business elsewhere.
