1 /5 Wafaa Basanda: I had an appointment at the Orlando Health Imaging Center in Spring Lake, and my experience was extremely disappointing. The staff member at check-in, was rude from the moment I arrived. She was chatting instead of assisting me, making me wait over 15 minutes before even acknowledging me.
When she finally checked me in, she rudely demanded my co-payment. There seemed to be an issue with their system because my payment wouldn’t go through on any of my cards. I explained that I was sure the problem was on their end, but she dismissively insisted that my cards were simply declined. After checking my bank and confirming there was no issue on my side, I asked her to try a different device. She finally agreed, and the payment went through without any problems.
After completing the transaction, I asked if she would at least apologize for the inconvenience. Instead of showing any professionalism, she raised her voice and shouted, “No, I don’t!” She then escalated the situation further by telling me she could refuse my service and demanded that I leave. When I requested to speak to a manager, she claimed there was none available because the manager was left!!!!
Even after I insisted that I would not leave, they made me wait an additional 30 minutes before I was finally seen.
This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a healthcare facility. The staff at this location are unprofessional and rude, and it seems like there is no management oversight. Patients deserve better treatment and respect.
