1 /5 J M: While the PT was just ok, what was a real problem was their mishandling of my account and subsequent billing issues. After verifying my insurance BEFORE making my appointment and verifying my copay, apparently the office where I received PT neglected to share my insurance information with their billing department. After paying all my copays and ending my rehab, I received a large bill. I discovered then (from the billing department agent) that they had not received my insurance info. Strange, since I wasnt billed for all the services, only select ones. Attempting to get assistance from the office manager and explaining in detail via email, all I got was the number for the billing department to contact them again- NOT helpful and apparently couldnt care less. I would never return to this practice.

5 /5 G Galloway: Let me begin by thanking the Pam Health Rehab of Tavares family. Whenever we arrive at this beautiful facility, we are always greeted with warm smiles and helping hands. This includes everyone from the front desk, the environmental staff and the nursing/therapy teams. (My mother is not able to walk long distances and needs wheelchair assistance. On several occasions many staff members offered to help getting her to the room.) The care and compassion you have shown our loved one continues to be top notch. We highly recommend this facility 10xs over. I would give them more stars if possible. It is comforting to know that your loved one is receiving compassionate care by highly trained professionals. Although we have several examples of their fantastic team of therapist, I will highlight one. Our loved one was at a lower level facility for a few months and was not trained on the proper swallowing technique. After a short time of working with the Speech Therapist at Pam he was swallowing and graduated to pleasure foods. We travel 1.5 hr one way to the facility knowing that you can’t put limits on how far you are willing to go for a loved one. There are times when I feel like you may need to have written a dissertation or at least a thesis in order to navigate the insurance and Medicare rules. I recommend that everyone become familiar with the rules so that you can make the best educated decisions for your loved ones. In doing so, do not allow traditional hospital social workers/case managers to dictate your loved one’s fate. There needs to be more “Pam Rehabs” to give patients the tools they need in order to truly rehabilitate themselves. Lastly, Alex thank you for all that you do!

2 /5 Nancy Capps: Discharged early before full recovery. The case workers make your medical decisions not your doctors. The case workers decide when you should go home regardless if you can walk or climb stairs and are unable to get in your home. Don’t let them talk you into going here. The rehab staff are great but the ones running the show are the case workers. It is a shame that such a nice facility has staff in the main office that won’t return phone calls.called the number given in response to this review and left message but no one has contacted me over my concerns.

1 /5 Heidi Ledesma-Rishell: I hadl horrible experience at this place. I had a nurse make fun of me about getting my pain medicine after it took her over two hours to bring it to me. Some of these people need to realize people are there cause they are sick not cause they wanted to be there. But my wound vac nurse Kim was great to me and helped me getting the help I need and take care of my foot. Thank u Kim for everything

5 /5 Amy Cearley: Incredible facility. Five stars on every level !! They have a great nursing team, great leader, ship, the care staff is attentive, compassionate, CNA’s. The therapy team is exceptional. As an advocate in the community for almost 20 years, I’ve had such great results from my clients that have gone to Pam’s for 2 to 3 weeks of therapy. Thank you for being a great resource in our community for patients struggling.
