5 /5 Jim D: This park is a great place to watch planes. It is located at the crossroads of both runways making for a good vantage of all aircraft movements. The elevated viewing platform allows for an unobstructed view of the action. There is plenty of shade and playground equipment to keep everyone entertained. The only drawback is parking is difficult. The parking lot was filled and we were the only people in the park, appears the nearby flight school has overtaken the parking.

4 /5 Donovan Stanchio: Great place to watch planes take off and land. Only 4 stars because the playground is lacking for kids over 4. All they have is the little small airplanes for the little kids to play in. There’s a good bit of space that they could use for more equipment.

5 /5 Robert Bruhl: Ok this is close to my heart. As someone who loves aviation and a aspiring pilot. This is a very special place for our future aviators. Its basically a kids park with a small runway and a tower for the kids to play on. There are benches and a picnic area for the family and the kicker. You have full view of the active runway which is KPNS or Pensacola airport. Its a great spot for lunch of you love watching airplanes takeoff and land. Its also a great spot to collect your thoughts and well just relax. And at night the light show is a maze which only a few know. This is what I like to call Penscola sweet spot for looking at the stars. Enjoy!

Crystal Ice House - Pensacola Dear India Rose: A glimpse into what life was like for Floridians before people had home refrigeration and air conditioning. The ice house would sell blocks of ice to locals back in the 30s. The purchase was made through hand gestures, holding up fingers to suggest how much ice you wished to purchase. The hand signals are engraved into the stucco wall above the door. Unfortunately, there appears to be some deterioration to this building and it is fenced off with a chain link fence. Still worth a visit

Dorr House - Pensacola Dr. Rosie Ann Riley: This house was built in 1871 by Mrs. Dorr after her husband and eldest son died in 1871. What I thought was very interesting was the photo designed with the hair of a dead loved one. This was common during this era. We were told that the kitchen and boys bedroom had been modernized because someone involved with house wanted to live in it. I forgot who and details. So we only saw sitting room, dining room and 2 bedrooms upstairs. The young woman who gave tour is also at the Museum of Agriculture. She is wearing dress from early 1800’s. This is a guided tour so go to Museum of Agriculture to find out times. We toured the church at 1pm then went to house after. I recommend visiting this house if in the area and like learning about Victorian era.

Fort Pickens - Pensacola Beach Darius Vlad: You have to pay a entrance fee to get inside. But after you get in you have beautiful beaches and sand dunes up until you reach the fort. There will be a self guided tour, you can walk almost everywhere you want had have amazing sights and tunnels to explore (be aware that mose are dead ends and youll need to follow your steps back) but nonetheless the historical place is amazing to visit.

Voices of Pensacola Multicultural Center - Pensacola Buster Levin: The mural on the outside of the building is simply awesome. An incredible way to showcase the rich history of Pensacola.

Chappie James Museum of Pensacola - Pensacola Chris Hall: My family and I had the pleasure of visiting the Chappie James museum. It may be one of the best done and most educational museums I have been to. Despite its small size, the knowledge imparted by the guide was amazing and the hospitality displayed by the entire staff was second to none. I highly recommend visiting this museum if you live in or are visiting Pensacola.

Fort George - Pensacola Victoria Haynie: It is a replica so dont expect it to be huge. Parking is on the street and you walk up steps to get to the cannons. It was small but neat

The displays and monuments do a great job sharing the history and honoring those who have served, both past and present. It’s clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The memorial to Marine aviation is especially moving—a proud reminder of the legacy and courage of those who have taken to the skies in service of our nation. Equally powerful is the Gold Star Families Memorial, a solemn space that honors the families of those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Sunrise is an especially beautiful time to visit—quiet, reflective, and full of meaning as the light hits the memorials. A must-visit spot in Pensacola for anyone who wants to take a moment to appreciate the sacrifices made for our country.

Pensacola Beach Boardwalk - Pensacola Beach Shenell Mack: Lovely boardwalk that gives you the opportunity to see a variety of ocean life. We didn’t see dolphins, but schools of fish, a barracuda, and a couple of sea turtles swam by this visit. It’s a nice thing to do to enjoy beautiful weather and sightseeing.

Pensacola Bay City Ferry - Pensacola Renae Tindale: We were waiting for some family members to join us in Pensacola, so we took the ferry ride to kill some time. It was very nice and relaxing. We were able to see dolphins. At the beach stop, we saw several places that we wanted to visit. We will do the ride again and get off next time.
