My family is new to the Fort Pierce area and we were searching for a new stylist to do my mom’s hair for her 60th birthday. We found this business after doing a quick Google search. On the first week of May 2022 we entered the salon and inquired about someone who may have availability to do my mother’s hair (who by the way is very insecure due to having alopecia) for the day of her 60th party (Saturday, May 14th). We were referred to a stylist by the name of Pookie. My mother and I personally spoke to him and asked if he had any availability and he said yes he would be available to do her hair. We asked if he needed to schedule us in or if he had a card for us to contact him and his response was “no, I’ll remember.” We came on the day of the appointment (Saturday, May 14, 2022) and Pookie was 30 minutes late. When he arrived he had another guest and ignored my mom. There was no apology from him. My mom was frustrated and distraught because it was her birthday and when she inquired when he would do her hair he told my mom “Oh short hair, I don’t like the way you look you can just leave.” I highly recommended folks doing their research before coming here or head to another establishment that hires professional staff where you feel safe and welcomed rather than attacked

SALON VIVACIOUS - Port St. Lucie Emily Persaud: This review is long overdue because I’ve had an extremely poor experience each time. To be honest it’s a nice salon, my hair stylist Stacy quite literally can’t ever get my hair looking how I want it. I’ve been a loyal customer for about four years, but my highlights have consistently disappointed me. I’ve had to go back for multiple appointments to try to fix her mess, each & every time I go there, leaving me unsatisfied each time. I’m stupid for going back every time but this time, Stacey practically fried off all of my hair to try to get it lighter like how i previously had it because she gave me brown highlights at first, then she had me come back to “fix it” it’s extremely dry & brittle, considering my hair was extremely healthy. Still I don’t have all the highlights I wanted. Some parts are platinum blond, some are brown, and some are honey blonde. she “fixed it” by just doing the top basically to shut me up, on top of that I texted her showing her parts are not the color I wanted & she said I had to pay for them because she already “fixed it” & if I were to go back her plan is to add more highlights when the problem is the COLOR, not me needing more highlights. She clearly can’t comprehend what is needed. It’s absurd that I paid so much for such a poor result. To add, when I went for a consultation, she quoted me $150, but at checkout it was $205. I don’t understand why she didn’t mention that toner is also a separate charge & not included in the price of a full highlight, I’m not a hairdresser or know anything about this field so I wouldn’t know. especially since I want the same thing every single time, I think by now she’d know how to do my hair. I’d give them 0 stars if I could. Never ever going back now I’ve learned my lesson, she can’t do blond highlights to save a life. #staceybotchedmyhair.

The salon is a total vibe and the staff is incredibly professional and welcoming. Erica is the sweetest and she’s very professional and provided tips to help me maintain my silk press. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
