Joona Collier: I had a strong fuel smell in the cabin. The mechanic found a cracked fuel injector seal, replaced it, and tested the system for leaks. It’s fixed, and I’m glad it wasn’t something worse.

Jake Martell: My skid plate was dragging on the pavement, so I headed over to the shop without an appointment and they saw me immediately. Fix took less than five minutes, and I wasn’t even charged. This place has honest guys who do honest work. Will for sure come back in the future.

Reliable....Integrity...The way it used to be. When you have family and job commitments, Gary Sapp delivers on time!

Rhino Auto Service - Pensacola
Sergey Romanenko: I want to start by saying that everyone at the shop is really friendly, and I truly believed up until the end that I didn’t waste $2600. But lets get into the facts. I came in with a check engine light and a complaint about rough cold starts. I also mentioned that I suspected fuel pressure issues. However, the car was otherwise running fine. The diagnostic took 2 hours($330), and they told me I needed to replace the fuel pressure sensor and fuel pump. I specifically asked the mechanic if this would solve the problem, and he said, “I am pretty 100% sure it will solve the problem.” After the repair, the manager said the issue was “99% fixed,” but recommended replacing all the injectors and the entire fuel line to get everything in perfect shape, which would cost around $5,000. Obviously, if I had known they were going to hit me with such a high number, I wouldn’t have gone forward with the repair, especially considering this is a 2017 car. But okay, they said it was 99% fixed, so that sounded reassuring. Fast forward 24 hours after I picked up the car, and now I have 160 misfires on cylinder 3 and the check engine light is back on. The engine starts slightly better than before, but it’s essentially how it was a couple of months ago. So basically, I paid $2600 for two extra months of somewhat better starts. Yes, they did additional work, like removing rusty bolts from the undercarriage and cleaning some carbon buildup. But at $165 labor per hour, those bolts alone cost me $330! In the end, I’m completely disappointed. Their prices are almost as high as the dealership, but the results were next to nothing. One day after leaving the shop and $2600 down, I’m almost back where I started. I’m not even sure the fuel sensor and pump are still ok, since the injector issue wasn’t addressed — which, it turns out, was likely the root cause all along.
Doug Ivey Automotive - Pensacola
Tom Luke: Took my car to Doug Ivey for a starter issue. Let a note in the citing exactly what the problem was. The shop went ahead and completed a unneeded repair on a starter, of which was not the problem at all. Would recommend East Hill Automotive.

Auto Works Palm Coast - Palm Coast
Ray M: Hello all, I’m fairly new to Palm Coast. Me and my family moved here last April 2024. I’m a former military mechanic and it has gotten increasingly harder to find a shop that isn’t shady these days. If you are looking for quality workmanship at fair prices this is the shop for you. David is strait up with you and honest and only recommends what’s needed. No upselling here. I have brought our 2006 KIA Optima here twice in the last few months. The last time it was for the AC system which quit working. He didn’t charge anything because it was just a blown fuse. Definitely pillar of excellence in Palm coast.
Palm Coast Auto Repair - Palm Coast
Bob Magnus: Palm Coast Auto Repair is a great local vendor to do business with. They always honor their appointment times and provide updated status of repairs being made. I have never had to return any of my vehicles because the repair was not done right. Highly recommend them
