5 /5 Jon: Punto de Amor Church has been called a lot of things lately, including “woke” and that hit home with me because this is where I encountered God. Please let me tell you what it really is, a place where lives are being changed, hearts are being healed, and Jesus is being lifted up.
We don’t claim to be perfect. But we do aim to love like Christ loved, without conditions, without judgment, and with open arms. We welcome people with real struggles (like me at one point), real pain (like myself), and real stories (like my family’s story). Because that’s exactly what Jesus did.
Our methods may look different to some. But they’re rooted in the same truth, the gospel. And the fruit is undeniable. People are finding freedom here. Families are being restored. Chains are being broken. And yes, hell is upset. Because the Kingdom is advancing.
