- Dr. James E. Oxer, DMD - Lake Placid Barbara Klein: Both my husband and myself go to Doctor Oxer. The office staff is friendly. Carol is a great Dental Hygienist.
My husband recently was having a problem with dentures made by another dentist. Dr Oxer was able to fix the bottom dentures and make another upper denture. He also did an implant to better anchor the upper denture. He has a great sense of humor and is very good at explaining the process. You never feel rushed. Great dentist and great customer service. Glad we found him..

I have TERRIBLE trauma with dentists; I have since I was a child, it’s legitimately a crippling fear for me just to walk in to a dentists office. So, listen up, Jose (the receptionist) was so friendly and created a very welcoming entrance, he was kind and personable, sensed my fear and showed me reassurance. Crystal, (my dental assistant) was so sweet to me about my fear and is the reason I wasn’t sobbing like I normally would be. She kept me preoccupied and made me laugh to forget about it. Even temporarily. Dr. Persaud was the most patient dentist I’ve ever had the pleasure of working on my mouth. He was very calm and accepted my anxiety as normal and even found ways to make me laugh. He was so professional and kind and made me forget I was having a tooth removed. Thank you a million Amberly. You just got a lifetime customer out of me. Thank you for giving me the most ideal experience with something as controversial as the dentist. Guys, do not hesitate with this place!!!
