From our first visit, we realized this church was different than anything we had seen or experienced in the past. The reverence for reading/learning/preaching God’s Word, the commitment to prayer, the love for serving others, the joy of sharing the Gospel, the Pastor’s love and care for his flock, …. I could go on and on. I love Restoration Church of Sanford!

Even as a church plant there is a remarkable impact on the community happening in Sanford, and lives are being transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This church aims to be first and foremost faithful to Scripture, evangelistic, seeking heart transformation then life transformation, and is rooted in orthodox Christianity. Everyone not only grows in their knowledge of Christ and what He has done for us but also growing in love for one another and those who are often forgotten about in society today. Since my family and I moved to this church and have started serving we have experienced the most encouraging season of our walk with Christ, and being connected to other Christians who seek to win Sanford for Christ and to be restored to God! Whether you are a new Christian or been in church your whole life, come taste and see what the Lord is doing to redeem the lost and heal the broken! “For by grace you have been saved through faith. The teaching is faithful and true to God’s Word. The opportunities to serve are meaningful. The commitment to prayer is deep. And the love of God’s people is genuine and sacrificial.

I think it’s important to say that is a church for the broken who can one day be restored fully in the saving grace offered in Jesus Christ. If you’re looking for a church whose pastors preach the Word and point to salvation in Christ alone, by grace alone, you will find it here. If you’re looking for a church that invites you to come as you are, but don’t expect to stay as you are, you will find it here. If you’re looking for church whose people show love and grace to one another and the broken, you will find it here. I am grateful beyond words for this community of believers!
