  • C.P. Tires & Auto Repair - Largo
J R: This is one of the most unprofessional auto shops Ive ever seen. I took my car here for some alignment work, and the shop owner kept trying to sell me tires that were the wrong size for my car! the tech working on my car for rude and belligerent with me about my presence in the shop, and the space around there is so tight theres barely any room for them to work. This place isnt worth any savings.
    True Auto Repair - Seminole
Victoria Friend: Jim always takes amazing care of all of my cars. I had recently taken my car for an oil change at the dealership (free oil changes) and they sent me a full list of things they wanted me to have done (over $2000). I talked to Jim and he told me exactly what really needed to be done and what was something the dealerships like to push. I love that his is honest and provides quick service!!
    J P Foreign Car - Largo
John Baron: I brought my Saab 9-3 convertible in for service, and I couldnt be more impressed with the experience. He quickly diagnosed the issue, explained everything in a way that made sense, and got the work done efficiently and professionally. Not only does my car drive better than it has in a long time, but I also felt completely confident that I wasn’t being upsold or misled. Just honest, high-quality work from someone who takes real pride in what they do. If you own a Saab—or any car, really—this is the place to go
    Stouts Auto Service - Largo
Daniel Brown: First time I visited for a transmission fluid and oil change, they threw the oil change in for free, unprompted. The second time I visited after being recommended by a different shop for a brake job; Stout told me my brakes were well within acceptable limits and could last another couple thousand miles before theyd recommend changing them. Outstanding honesty and friendliness. Would recommend them to anyone.
Advanced Automotive Service Center - Seminole
John Vozzella: Love the shop my new go to. They were able to diagnose any issues with the car. Let me know what needed to be repaired how much, etc. I was able to make an appointment really quick with them as a walk-in just the next day actually. They are high rated with Carfax. Consumer reports three years In a row Best repair shop in the area. Car is running great thank you again.
Calibey’s Oakhurst Auto Service Center - Seminole
Beth Brooks: I am from out of town and my car broke down on a Sunday. When searching for a repair shop to have it towed to Calibey’s was highly rated.- They absolutely lived up to their reviews. Easy and friendly communication. Honest and fair price quote. Excellent service, work, and verifying integrity of repairs. I appreciate they didn’t take advantage of me. They simply took care of my car to get me back on the road quickly and safely! Blessings to the business!
    Scotts Auto Repair - Largo
Nickolas Breidenstein: Don’t let the lack of reviews fool you. Brian was a very generous man. He did honest work offering more then fair prices. He offered to come to me or had a location to come to him. He went above and beyond to make sure I got back on the road. Brian saved me over half of what I would have paid at those overpriced repair shops that charge you an unfair labor cost on top of price mark ups on the parts. My family and myself will be contacting Brian for any future maintenance for our vehicles. He has earned our business! Thank you so much for being a genuine person, it gives me hope that there’s still good people out there not trying to screw anyone they get the chance to.
Belleair Auto Care - Belleair Bluffs
Joseph Sarkis: My trusty Basset Hound Alice and I travel our beautiful USA each summer in my restored VW WESTFALIA; have been for 30 years. Of course piloting such an old car can be somewhat problematic at times. Case in point: I live in the state of Washington and decided I wanted to visit Key West, a place that was always on my bucket list but a place I never got to. 2024 was my year for such a trip. Triple digit temperatures, torrential downpours, flooding, crazy humidity, and 8,000 miles later didnt phase the little VW. However, neglected and overlooked wheel bearings did. Enter Belleair Auto Care in Belleair Bluffs Florida. An auto repair shop that on any given day youll find, classic cars, imports, exotics, and everyday drivers lining their lot. When I called and spoke with Don the shop manager, he assured me he would check into parts availability and get back to me in 10 minutes. After all, finding anything for a 1988 VW WESTFALIA is a tricky proposition. To my surprise he phoned me back with not only good news about the parts but told me to get it in first thing in the morning and theyd begin doing the repairs. Even had a preliminary repair estimate for me. All within the 10 minutes he promised. Amazing!!! Within 2 days Frank, one of the shops excellent technicians, completed the repairs. He also found a damaged and leaking brake line and fabricated parts to repair it that were no longer available. But wait, theres more. 4 days into my trip back to Washington, and just coming out of the Ozark Moutains in Arkansas, Tom, the shop owner, reached out to me to check in on their repairs. Who does that now days? So wake up VW BUS owners, import owners, classic car owners, and everyday drivers. Customer Service is alive and well at Belleair Auto Care. Got a squeak, rattle, or growling wheel bearing noises like I had? Give Robbie, Belleairs Customer Service representative a call. Im confident youll be more than satisfied with their work. Alice and I want to thank all of you for making our ride back home to Washington a safe one. Joe Sarkis Port Orchard, Washington
Metrics Auto Repair Inc. - Largo
Sam Ramos: Sadly, another bad write up about a friend(cousin of the owner) referring me to this shop and everything has gone wrong since. I brought my 2016 C7 Z06 to this shop to get the AC blower motor replaced. Shortly after the blower motor job, my compressor went bad and i had that replaced as well. Upon completion of the compressor I took my car. The next morning Im driving to a work function and the front splitter of the car detached and drags at 55 MPH. Mind you this piece was attached perfectly fine when I dropped off the vehicle, they just didnt reattach it properly or at all. Rabih instructs me to bring the car in and he would take care of it, so I did. He then finds a used splitter and paints it some random matte black color when the rest of the pieces are carbon flash colored. As I currently type this review ive had 2 warranty replacements of the blower motor and Im on my 3rd blower and my AC is not blowing. I currently have to kick the passenger floor board to get it going. Im paying a body shop $1k to get the front of my vehicle looking proper again......all in all, stay away from this shop. Im getting rid of my corvette now as all these headaches and still not having AC have ruined that car for me.
