1 /5 James Spinella: I was a patient of Dr. Roque from around 2002 to 2005, when I was an elementary school-aged boy of a very poor single-mother.
My memories of Dr Roque include him trying to flirt with my mom, and getting angry and frustrated and cursing while doing a filling. I also remember him telling me the syringe of anesthetic he was holding was “not a shot” (I wasn’t afraid of shots so I’m not sure why he felt the need to try to placate me). Of course it was a shot, and I felt it, but it didn’t really hurt… I just think it’s funny seeing the review on his other Google Maps business listing talking about how he wanted a mother to help him hold her son down to administer the anesthesia shot.
Anyway, it seems like he’s created this new “Roque Family Dentistry” business listing to try to get away from all the bad reviews on the other one. Check those out. There’s a clear pattern of him flirting with women, being bad with kids, having a lousy attitude, and evidently not using the latest (or second-latest) in dental advancements. With so many dentists in Vero Beach I’m not sure why anyone would read the reviews and choose Dr. Roque.
