Round Island Riverside Park - Vero Beach (FL)

5 /5 J Pappadouplos: Round Island is the perfect place for a relaxing morning of kayaking/paddleboarding. Peaceful and if you are lucky you will see a dolphin or two and manatees!

4 /5 Michael Jimenez: Wonderful park just across the street from the beach! There was access for boats and kayaks to get in the water here. Nice hiking trail that leads to some cool spots and views. Even a look out tower. I highly recommend, great time to spend the day at the beach and park.

4 /5 Heather Beaird: We stopped in hopes of seeing some wildlife. We did see a couple of fish and 1 happy dolphins just minding his own business. The paths are sandy with lots of roots. Definitely not wheelchair friendly. I recommend watching your step and sometimes your hat. A low branch here and there can swipe the hat right off your head. There is a tower on the South loop. Climbed to the top. That where I got the dolphin video. I wish there was a beachy place to set up my chair to watch for wildlife. Most water areas were not big enough for the 4 of us to sit and not be in the way. I have no manatee to report yet but it is just Feb. I’ll try again another day.

4 /5 Katherine Vanderbogart: Kayaking in Round Island is the best! 2 manatees and 5 dolphins. Very rich in mangroves and sustainability. Just hope it stays this way.

5 /5 Paul Short: If you want to see manatees, this is the place. I always bring anyone visiting here. I also come out here solo and walk the trails, climb the tower, and boardwalk. Its also a nice spot to drop in a boat and head out on the river. Close to the inlet but usually not too crowded of a boat ramp.
