4 /5 Laurie B: Sign heading onto the beach is misleading. It says "Dogs not allowed in park." The beach is not the park. Leashed dogs are allowed on Indian River Shores beaches at all times (verified on citys public beach access page). Unleashed dogs are allowed from about sunrise to 9am but must be registered first. Beach is very nice and was not crowded when we were there. People were very nice and we did see other leashed dogs. I took off a star as there are no amenities such as foot wash but that was not really a big deal for us.

5 /5 Claudia Cabaço: We visited this beach on August 19th and it was marvellous! Pretty much the beach just for us. The weather was. But instable and we had to rush of to run from a storm. There was no life guard, but the sea was calm that day. However I do not recommend children alone in the water Theres no showers or feet washer as support services. We were blessed and saw a baby turtle rushing to the see! There are dozens of visible turtle nests identified by the biologists. Please keep it that way and dont touch them. Also if you are blessed to see a baby turtle, dont touch her and let her do what she knows and has to do.

Jackson Blue Springs - Marianna

Wind Tree Studios: This beautiful first magnitude spring has something for everybody. The immediate area around the spring head is very well developed with picnic pavilions and even the sand pit for volleyball. There are even boat rides to go down river and enjoy the beauty of the natural surroundings. Most astonishingly, is the huge underwater cave system here that divers love to enjoy and explore. Apparently there are several miles of explored caves accessible from this spring.

Jennings Park - Marianna

Jamie Phillips: Looks like the city has given up on maintenance for this park. Id say its essentially closed. Theres peeling rust on the equipment, the road to the "parking lot" had grown over, and the bathroom looks like a miniature heroin den. Would not recommend.

Florida Caverns Tours and Gift Shop - Marianna

C E: The caverns are beautiful! The rooms are not as large as taller caverns in other states, but there are more formations than in other caverns I have visited. The view is up close and personal. Our tour guide, Jules, was very knowledgeable about the caverns. Definitely put these caverns on your Florida bucket list!

Hinson Conservation & Recreation Area -

Parrish Stephanie (Buckee): Ive lived in this area my entire life and never knew this gem was so close. This place is so beautiful. There are walking trails. There are caves. We were able to walk into the caves which was absolutely incredible. We only found one but apparently there are more somewhere. The walking trails are right beside the Chipola River. There is a railroad bridge down one trail. There are picnic tables for usage. And a smalll boat ramp for launching your boat. Im gonna be posting some pics from our outing. Definitely gonna be going back soon.

Madison Street Park - Marianna

Harrison Hogan Annette (AHarrisonH): My grandson enjoyed himself so much here. He said that Blue Springs was too cold for him, so we stopped here. He loved it. Wish they had play area with swings, but very nice splash park.

Bellamy Bridge - Marianna

Jason Green: Half mile walk back to one of the coolest abandoned trestle bridges one could ever hope to see. Go during the day to avoid paranormal terrors.

Tallahassee Museum - Tallahassee

Melaine Shaw: When I visit Tallahassee, FL, this place is always a must do and see!! If you like zoos, this is probably one of the best, but you wont see every animal like you would at a regular zoo!! This is a State Park, and they take in wild animals that may have been injured, abandoned, or whatever else may happen to the wild animals in their natural habitat.

Letchworth-Love Mounds Archaeological State Park - Monticello

Wind Tree Studios: Photos do not do justice to the size and beauty of this historic site. Although mostly overgrown with vegetation and trees, the mound is still clearly visible as you approach it from the parking area. You can also enjoy a decent view looking out from the top of the mound itself. There are also excellent museum quality educational displays and an excellent mural here as well. The energy here is quiet and grounded, making for a wonderful and relaxing experience overall.

Aucilla Wildlife Management Area - Monticello

Deborah Iden: We go here most every weekend! Its so quiet and peaceful. Theres so much to see, find and discover. There are no tickets to purchase. Its free wherever you go.

Monticello Ecological Park - Monticello

Christian Marais: This park is on the same road as county municipal office. Supposed to be a flagship project, it was a really great park but has seen little to no maintenance. Still open but Hurricane Helene officially took the little it had remaining. A dozer has recently been through however debris/burn piles remain high along the trail, much of the infrastructure is destroyed, and the trail is in poor condition. We hope this only city park can shine again.
