She was able to rescue my hair and fix the cut into a workable style while it grows out. She was amazing and calmed me down. She explains everything and took the time to really restructure my hair. I will NEVER go to another salon. I am a customer for life. I cannot recommend the salon and Ximena enough

5 /5 Terri A Lodge: Rumours is the best salon I have ever used. The owner, Marsha is amazing. Her skills with hair and coloring is phenomenal. Recently I lost a great deal of my hair and no one could explain to me why. Marsha has been working with me and my hair is growing back. No matter what your hair is like - she will have you looking your best. If you have to wait a little for an appt - WAIT. Trust me, she is worth the wait! Also her houseboat is so much fun!

Friendly atmosphere with Good Vibes, I get my hair done by Jasmine and its perfect every time! 5 /5 NANCY MONYHAN: Hands down best salon in the area. Great work at reasonable prices. Everyone is wonderful, attentive, caring, and friendly. You never have to wait more tha a few minutes and then you are warmly greeted and offered a drink- my fave is the chocolate martini - YUM! Cyndi always does a fantastic job with my color and cut, she is always open to new ideas and has an eye for what looks good on you. The whole crew is like a family, and I consider Cyndi my friend, as well as my hair artist. Can’t say enough about this angelic, charming salon...and it’s on a boat as well! I always look forward to my appointments. Highly recommended!❤️❤️❤️

5 /5 Karen LaPorte: What a wonderful SPA day my husband surprised me with at Rumors on the Water! Jazmine was the best at making sure it was everything and more! Began with a moisturizing paraffin feet and hands while I recieved a ageless facial. Then a gel nail manicure and pedicure. Next was a redo on my hair...dye with highlights, cut wash moisturizer and style. Break for a sushi lunch on the terrace. Then face wax and make-up. Jazmine is especially great with hair. Mine has never looked better. As she is an artist, she was able to suggest and do. I will be back every six weeks. Oh, did I mention it comes with a complimentary chocolate martini a specialty of Marcia the owner. An relaxing and energizing day! My husband is a keeper!

However, despite saying they could reinstall my preowned extensions with the IBE method, they were falling out after less than a month. I had to have them removed and was informed that they were not only installed incorrectly, but left tension sores and excessive shedding.

Emily Flores: Love this place!! I see Destiny and she is AMAZING! I always get a gloss and blowout with her and she always takes such good care of my hair. I had an allergic reaction to something the first time I went and she worked with me to find the root cause. She gave me shampoo/conditioner samples to see if it was the shampoo or conditioner or if it was the gloss/product she was using. She followed up with me and texted me for an update to make sure I was okay too! Definitely recommend 10000% if you want a hairstylist who cares about your hair and hair health! Here’s a pic of my latest gloss and blowout with her :)

Extremely saddest by the unprofessionalism With way more then able to be explained, they both left over charged and completely not happy and also LATE to graduation because the lady decided to over book appointments and start another clients hair in the midst of doing my family’s. Nor offered wine which is clearly offered on your website. Then made my family wait for the other people to get done and originally agreed on a price of 50$ each yet AFTER the service charged $80 for both even tho she has to re curl her own hair and comb her own hair because the lady was no where to be found while taking the client she over booked and made us wait for. My friend left crying and late to her graduation due to the unprofessional and unnecessary treatment the lady with orange hair did to my friend. Their hair was NO where near done the way they hoped and paid well over $180 for 2 blowouts. Very very unsatisfactory service. Mediocre performance and customer service and professional care. If I could give 0 starts I would. Also failed to mention their is a discount for FGCU students EVENTHO the lady most definitely knew my family was graduating from FGCU that same day. Plz go somewhere else.

Toni Sanchez: Second time Eddie ruined my hair. He cannot lighten or balayage accurately. My hair either ends up gray or orange. This time he turned my blonde gold /orange. He does 5 or 6 customers at the same time so u end up waiting & waiting & waiting. He did agree to fix my hair a week later then canceled to go to a party. He gave my $425 back but I still had orange hair. Eddie is only about making money. Paying $400 to share my appointment time with other customers is not appropriate & thats why my hair turned out like this. Quantity over quality is his practice. Terrible business practice, work ethic & quality.
