1 /5 Gianna Massaro: Do not go here!!! I went in today for a cleaning. As soon as I was brought back they told me it’d be over $100 for a panoramic scan (they told me it was needed and I couldn’t skip it, which I believe is false) and that my insurance wouldn’t cover it because it only covers 1 every 5 years… We just switched to the insurance this month so that was also false. They said they made a mistake after I told them that and switched it to $20 for the scan which I still was unsure of but I just wanted to get it done. They did the panoramic scan, on top of the other normal scans, and then had a woman come in to clean my teeth. She didn’t say anything except “open” and began scraping my teeth with a very sharp tool and started saying numbers to the other woman in there to write down.. not explaining what they were doing or why. The woman scraping my teeth was pressing extremely hard.. causing my gums to bleed and then she showed me pictures of my bleeding gums and told me I had inflammation and had to have a special pre-gingivitis cleaning because of it. When I asked her if it would be covered under my insurance or extra she said she wasn’t sure and I’d just have to wait until after the cleaning to find out the price. I told them I would like to know the cost first and they just left the room again without saying anything. A gentleman came in and told me it’s originally over $1000 but after insurance it would be close to $150 out of my pocket… I didn’t want to do that so I said I’d like to just do the regular cleaning and was told I couldn’t after being “diagnosed with inflamed gums” and then was told “you know how corporate is”. The whole experience was uncomfortable and every part of it seemed like they were just looking for more money to get out of me. I walked out with no teeth cleaning and still had to pay $20 for a random scan that was not needed. I am extremely unhappy with my visit, do not go here.
