1 /5 Laurie Fenos: Pleasant and clean. Friendly. Cut with Loan based on referrral and online reviews good. Perhaps the technical aspects of the cut were good and you may have a good experience. However, I went in with collarbone length hair, explained it was recently cut, I didn’t want to lose length but needed some long layers added to my wavy hair to remove the triangle bulk effect from last cut which left hair mostly one length. Had some pics of what I’d find acceptable. Thought I was clear. I ended up with an old fashioned bob, that when dry the length is now at my jawline and I still have a triangle. My one star comes from not having someone know how to work with wavy hair that poofs with Florida humidity, not hearing I didn’t want to lose length, not hearing I wanted to get rid of the triangle but received a shorter version of it and now having hair so short I’ll have to wait 6 months to a year before I can attempt to get it cut again. I showed my sister and she laughed and made me swear not to attempt to get another cut for a long time. So it’s not just my take on it. It’s hideous, would have been better on fine straight hair and a much older person who didn’t care about having trendy hair. Now I have to pull my hair back for the next half year minimum while it grows out. From a vanity point of view, I’m devastated. I’d share pics if I wasn’t so embarrassed. But taking it in stride because there are worse things in life that could happen than a bad hair cut.
