1 /5 Tadarria Cotton: By far the worst experience ever! Dr. Tarras saw me in his office referred me out for the chiari surgery. After having the surgery I still felt symptoms. I have reached out to both Dr. Tarras and Aghion and have been given nothing but a hard time. When I went back to my follow up appt with Dr. Tarras and explained what I was experiencing he rolled his eyes as if I had a reason to lie about the pain I was in or things I was experiencing. Since my surgery I have sensitivity to light and horrible migraines that makes it impossible for me at 33 to work and take care of my son. I also reach out to Dr. Aghions office who basically told me they wouldn’t be able to do anything for me I would need to speak with Dr. Tarras, if you are recommended for this surgery just be ready to be cut on with no response after they’ve received their payment or it’s complete. I also asked if one of the providers could fill out additional information for my job so I can be compensated accordingly, nothing! But told I need to follow up with my pcp or psychiatrist who is not who recommended or performed this surgery! I am very angry and at my lowest with both providers.

1 /5 MD Chow: I have serious pain my both legs. My primary doctor referred to this doctor office. Well, when I made a call for schedule appointment. Office secretary gave me appointment after 5 months. I asked why so long time made an appointment? He said that Mr. doctor very busy need to wait that much time. Any body have idea Memorial Hospital all doctors gave long time waiting appointment? They are waiting patient got more serious pain then we can do surgery make more money from insurance. otherwise I do not see any other reason waiting time 3-5 months!

1 /5 Anastasia S: My husband had a back pain and attend the doctor 8 moths ago complaining about pain he experience for a few months already. Doctor didnt give him a simple MRI referral, just perscribe anti inflammatory pills. My husband as we discover later had big hernia at his lower spine. He already had multiple spine injections and probably need surgery. Things could be way better now if Dr. Tarras would give him MRI earlier and we know diagnosis earlier. Having medical education and minimal knowledge of anatomy would logically lead for giving your patient an MRI referral at that point and maybe a refferal to the back pain doctor. Horrible doctor, who didnt care about his patients.

1 /5 O Ts: Absolutely not worth the 5 month wait period to see him. Do yourself a favor and find someone else. Edit: This is my response to whom ever left that generic message. Telling a patient, I don’t know what’s wrong with you so no need for you to come back and not recommending another doctor who may help is insane! The ER doctor at Memorial was terrible as well. We ended up at the Cleveland Clinic in Weston and the ER doctor, not a neurologist, told us her suspicion of what my husband is suffering from. She left the room and when she came back she informed us that she got off the phone with a neurologist from Cleveland Clinic. This neurologist hasn’t even seen my husband and he confirmed with the ER doctor that her suspicions may be correct. Dr. Tarras, we waited 5 months to see you. You have zero compassion and zero motivation and willingness to help patients. Not sure why you are still a doctor. Oh wait I know. Memorial Health System is a cash cow meat factory. You needed to charge my insurance an additional $1300 for an unnecessary EMG test that was already performed by another neurologist and nothing was found. You just wanted to confirm that finding so you can charge, get paid and move onto the next patient. Pathetic!

1 /5 Johnny Rotten: I saw this Doctor in August of 2015. I was having burning shooting pain in both arms and legs and pain in my neck and back. Nerve conduction studied were abnormal and stated neuropathy with nerve entrapments and carpal tunnel in both hands. MRI multiple disc herniations. Well for whatever reason I don’t know if he couldn’t determine what was causing the issues he just told me there was nothing wrong. He should have told me he did not know what was causing it and i could at least respect that. I had been active at the time and spent a lot in the gym but had not been able to go due to the pain I was having. Well he rudely told me it was time to get back in the gym. He was generally not very pleasant and would become visibly irritated if I did not do something correctly that he wanted during the evaluation. I understand we may all have bad days but I was there looking for help and was not treated very well and never went back. I ultimately was able to get proper help from an orthopedic surgeon, a.hand doctor and my primary doctor. I hope he has changed his ways and patients get a better experience with him but mine was not good.
