1 /5 m p: The office receptionists do not usually answer the phone. This is a serious problem. How many messages is one expected to leave before he/she gets a call back? Two weeks later and the medication I need still has not been ordered... and no one calls me back.

5 /5 Stephanie Cardoso: I was really nervous to go to this clinic after reading 7 negative reviews but from making an appointment up to seeing the doctor I was so well treated that it actually surprised me. Everyone at the front desk was really nice and doctor Martinez was amazing. He took his time talking to me and explaining everything I needed to know, he didn’t rush at all through my consultation and was very attentive. I’m sad people only came here to leave bad reviews, that made me really anxious before my appointment, I wish more people with good experiences would leave their reviews as well. I don’t have a single complaint about this facility or doctor, and hope this review will help and ease someone that is looking for a pulmonologist.

1 /5 Karen Mann: Dr. Martinez was one of my appointed Physicians while I was battling Covid in Broward Health Hospital. He has no bed side manner and lacks much personality. No more than a minute into his visit he begins rudely lecturing me about being in the bed too long and how I need to get up a move about. After I set the record straight letting him know not to speak to me in that tone because I had already exercised with the breathing contraption, walked around, . showered, etc. He never came back to visit me but he definitely billed my insurance. I was Even billed for a day after my hospital release. Terrible!

1 /5 Greg Bates: 1/4 star. Called and they said they are not taking any sleep patients. What a joke! Just close your doors then if you are not in the business to help people.

Dr. Jose L. Martinez, MD - Pompano Beach Boca Raton: Incredible careless to answer the phone within work hours. They dont answering the phone between 12:30-2:30pm, OK fine, but have been calling like 10 times from 2:31pm till 3:12pm and they keep having the office phone answering in automatic not allowing option 1 to be able to schedule an appointment but they still have the answering system off not allowing option 1. I guess th office manager have some serious work to do .

Broward Health Corporate Offices - Fort Lauderdale Thomas G: I only had a single doctor’s appointment with a Broward Health doctor, and it ended up becoming a 6 month nightmare. My annual doctor’s physical ended up costing hundreds of dollars. Virtually impossible to get someone helpful on the phone to discuss. They have a decentralized network of call centers whose favorite game is sending you a different call center. After I was finally able to settle my account, they sent my bill to a collector (AFTER I HAD PAID IT!) and then refused to withdraw it saying “there’s nothing they can do.” It has been a Kafka-esque carnival of horrors that I’m yet to be free of. If you’re reading this and you are considering using a Broward Health physician or doctor, my advice would be to RUN AND HIDE. Lock your doors, hug your families, and thank the Lord you don’t have to deal with this deeply dysfunctional and cynical healthcare provider.

Broward Health Physician Group - Fort Lauderdale Mike Kurry: Saw Dr Lucia Blanchard today for a bi-annual follow up. Everyone in the office is very nice and cordial and except for my pcp not sending in a referral and it taking 3 calls to get it, there were no problems or delays. Dr Blanchard and I discussed future tests and advantages and disadvantages of having a procedure done. The next test will determine what happens next.

Pronto Urgent Care - Fort Lauderdale Maha Kashani: My 2 year old daughter picked up a jellyfish at Lauderdale-by-the-sea and was stung. She was in agonizing pain with her hands swelling immediately. We are from out of town, so I quickly called Pronto who said absolutely bring her in and they would triage immediately. As soon as we got there, they whisked us back to a room and Dr Game came running in (literally) with her kit to help. She said she knew how badly the pain was my daughter was feeling, so she jumped right into action. Treatment began within minutes of us walking through the door. Dr Game was so kind, patient and sweet with my daughter. At one point, my baby was shivering (we ran off that beach dripping wet and even left our towels behind) so Dr Game went and brought back a space heater for our room. Her staff was also incredibly kind and responsive. Overall we had an incredible experience. 5 Stars. Thank you, Dr Game!

Armenakis Kiprianos S MD - Pompano Beach Jacob Miller: Dr. Armenakis is the nicest doctor you will ever meet. Such positive energy. The crew at his office is amazing as well - name by name and one by one. When him and his team come through in the mornings at Ft. Lauderdale Behavioral Health to check up on all the patients, they are so nice, energetic, and care about our medical needs. Love yall!

Hes kind and caring and that is why I have put my trust in him for over 35 years! Simone is also amazing with her kindness. She is always ready to help in any way possible.

Dr. Lav Panchal - Pompano Beach Rene Wagner: I would highly recommend Dr. Lav Panchal. He is an excellent opthamologist / surgeon. He performed cataract surgery on my 88 year old father who is very pleased with his results. Dr. Panchal is very kind, caring and patient. He was thorough in explaining treatment options available and provided excellent pre and post-op care. He shows commitment to his practice in ensuring optimal outcomes. Thank you. Dorothy Mangurian Comprehensive Womens Center - Fort Lauderdale Heather G: After many years of going here for my mammogram and ultrasound, I’m done. While not everyone who works there is bad, the good doesn’t outweigh the bad anymore. When I called for my appt, the girl who answered had MAJOR attitude like she didn’t want to be there and was extremely annoyed that I wanted to make an appt. Said I need to get them my script before they can do anything. Fine, not a problem. But kindly tell me in a professional manner. Last year I had to fax it which was an adventure in itself finding a fax machine. I guess holy cross finally left the 90’s and now have an email but you need ASK if they have the email. It’s not offered to you. Between that, the extreme long wait times, not giving results right away like most other places, unfriendly technicians, I’m done. Getting a mammogram is torture enough. I don’t need any more.

Rubens Sievert, MD - Pompano Beach Val: Horrible experience, while Dr Sievert himself is a great doctor, whoever is answering the phone has a nasty and hostile actitud! A simple call for a reschedule appointment ended up on her screaming and being straight up rude, questioning and judging PERSONAL reasons as to why the appointment was missed, this situation when on for two different calls with months in between. Hopefully she’ll find a job that’ll suit her, because customer service is not it.

AHF Healthcare Center - Northpoint - Fort Lauderdale J Scott Smith: I’ve been a patient of AHF about since the early 2000’s. Back when it was Referred to as a “Doctor’s Office” and not a “Clinic.” My last appointment with Dr. Henry I waited in an exam room for 3 hours before I became extremely vocal with the front desk . I was told that they double booked me and that I needed to come back. I travel 40 minutes from palm beach county. I called in a week ago to get a prescription for thrush. Thrush is a fungus that appears on your gums and makes it painful when wearing dentures in my case. I was told by a woman that stated her position as the supervisor of the front desk that she would stand over Doctor Henry until she was able to get him to write a prescription. Then have it delivered no later than the Tuesday after President’s day. That never happened. That Wednesday I had an appointment with another doctor at Northpoint. After picking up a medication for Thrush I realized that Dr. Henry only prescribed enough to last me 3 days. I went to the front desk and ask to speak with Dr. Henry. On a previous appointment with Dr. Henry he examined my mouth and confirmed that I definitely had thrush. I explained I had some medication from Nova University when I got my dentures. He stated when I need an another prescription just let him know. Instead of Dr. Henry coming out to speak to me he came out Yelling at me DIDN’T YOU ASK THE PHARMACY ABOUT THE REFILLS I GAVE YOU!!! Dr Henry prescribed 60ml. I’m to use 5ml 4 times a day. With 2 refills would last me 9 days. The doctor at Nova dental school prescribed me 600ml that would be enough for a month. Unfortunately I can’t return to their office since I don’t participate in the Ryan White program. Then Ruben the Office Administrator came out and told me to take a picture of a number to file a grievance report. When I went to my car I called the number and Verizon recording stated that the number could not be reached. When I returned to the front desk and dialed the number in front of Ruben the office administrator and the same message was heard over the speaker on my cell. He walked into his office and never returned. Then Dr. Henry told me to leave otherwise he would be calling the police and have me removed . I told Dr. Henry he wasn’t worthy of being my Doctor. Dr. Henry responds again was Deplorable by any standards. AHF used to be an excellent compassionate place where their staffing took pride in their positions. Today it’s become an assembly line of patients that this location is unable to handle the volume of patients. The turn over rate of their administration staffing is ridiculous. You never see the same faces upon your next visit. I was told by their Front Desk Supervisor that they are having a hard time with their Staffing. That clearly is an understatement. When I went in to have my labs done. The tech stuck me five times unable to find a vein. I used to workout and my veins are still very good condition. After reading other reviews I’m not the only person that feels that AHF IS NO LONGER WHAT IT USED TO BE. It extremely saddens me that AHF is more concerned about the staffing treatment than the lack of patient relations. The staffing has no compassion or passion for what they do. It’s now just a factory and you are now a number. If it wasn’t for the patients. Their staffing would not have a job. My Jack Russell gets better care at his veterinary than I have gotten at AHF Nothpoint !!!!! I normally don’t write reviews. However over the past few years. The negative experiences have increased two folds. Don’t bother with filling a Grievance. It will never be followed up. Save yourself the aggravation and disappointment. Seek care with another provider!!
