Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center - StuartBradley Rahm: Any time we are on the island, there is always a plan to make it a stop! For 20 years, we have been coming and have loved watching the center get bigger and better year after year.
With a great friendly and knowledgeable staff you dont have to worry about asking questions of any kind.
Dont skip out on the mangrove walk. The trails are raised and clear. The wildlife is absolutely amazing. Just watch out for the stray spiderweb if you go first thing in the morning.
Kiplinger Nature Preserve - StuartJoe Rubino: A fairly new park. It is about a 1 mile short walk that includes a stop along the St. Lucie River, where there is a dock for viewing. There are a couple of wooden walkways along the trek. Great for kids or just a quick stroll to get outdoors.
Manatee Bridge - StuartLeonardo: A very beautiful place full of peace in which you can stop for a moment to appreciate these beautiful beings in their natural habitat, it should be noted that you can park your vehicle before or after the bridge
Stuart Welcome Arch - Jensen BeachDon Z: Stuart Arch you have to see it is really something down here on the other side it says welcome to Jensen Beach really cool check it out
Stuart Ghost Tours and Haunted Pub Crawls - StuartScottsJourneys: If your looking for a spooky, fun-filled evening with a side of local lure, the Stuart Ghost Tours is the place to be. Our guide was absolutly fantastic-super nice, hilariously witty, and a walking encyclopedia of Stuarts haunted history. Every tale had us captivated (and occasionally looking over our shoulders).
But the real show-stealer? Bob. Oh yes we met Bob along the way-a very interesting character who decided to stick around for the rest of the tour. Now, were not saying hes a ghost, but lets just say he had a knack for popping up at just the right (or wrong?) moments. Bob added an extra layer of "boo-tiful" hilarity to the night-hes basically part of the crew now.
St. Mary’s Wings - StuartChristian Anderson: Beautiful wings here in Martin County! Colorful and perfect for Instagram!
Halpatiokee Regional Park - Stuartlisa murdock: I hike here every time I visit the area. It’s spectacular, the trees are almost completely covered in air plants, bromeliads. There are tortoises and alligators as well! Lots of parking and bathrooms.
