5 /5 Jamie Field: Love Dr Maetozo and all the staff they make every effort to ensure you’re comfortable and heathy. I have moved an hour away however the relationship I’ve formed is well worth my time to still go here.

1 /5 January Turner: Take the negative reviews of this practice A.K.A Maetozo Total Womans Care of St Augustine, Florida very seriously. The medical staff here are dismissive, Insensitive, and arent sufficiently trained in my opinion on treatment or supporting patients. Many times you cant get in touch with office staff. Ive had front office staff recommend medication to me without direction from my provider, and just recently a scheduled essential procedure was canceled the day before the appointment. I could go on and on about their hidden charges, inability to discuss treatment options, and gaslighting about your health concerns but Id be here all day. Do yourself a favor and find a practice that cares about you.

5 /5 Rainbow Strike: Dr Maetozo and her entire staff are compassionate and caring. They go above and beyond to find solutions to problems, and it is an upbeat office. In my many years as a patient I have always been impressed. Dr Maetozo’s intuition and recommendation years ago likely saved the life of my daughter, who is now also a patient of hers. For women having perimenopause/menopausal issues I can attest that your concerns will be taken seriously. And a good sense of humor abounds in this practice which is fun as well! Highly recommend!

1 /5 Rachel Moran-Brown: I had my annual exam with one of the ARNPs Diane, and as I asked about perimenopause because I’m over 40, the woman just left the room and another ARNP came into the room. She was invalidating and dismissive and defensive as I was describing my subjective experience with perimenopause and hormones. I am a licensed mental health counselor and deeply interested and invested in research and understanding the complexities of hormones and this stage of life. Her response was patronizing and belittling. I will not be returning. Shauna was my practitioner last year and was amazing so I do recommend her but would never recommend the practice in general.

1 /5 Amy J: Consider this a ZERO star review. This practice is horrible from top to bottom. Dr. Maetozo watched me cry through a procedure without even asking what was wrong rather than allowing my husband into the room to just hold my hand. She repeatedly stated that I couldnt possibly be in pain, when I was. I also have an anxiety disorder which she was told before the procedure began. No doctor or person has the right to tell another that they are or arent in pain. When I approached her about HRT and menopause symptoms she ONLY recommended pellets and MonaLisa touch both of which she makes money from because insurance doesnt cover them. She prescribed vaginal estrogen only without the addition of progesterone which I have since learned is very bad practice for a women who still has a uterus. To top it all off, they use a patient portal that they have no control over. I received email messages from their portal every few months. I always took the print outs into the office to discuss because I couldnt find the message that the portal message said I had received. They just kept saying they would report it but they didnt know either. Every 6 months for three years I asked them to do something. Ive since moved on from the practice. First of all they refuse to send me or my new provider my records despite sending them through the mail my written permission (they say HIPAA required I pick them up in person or pay to have them sent which is funny because it doesnt say that when I google and Ive never had another provider require this) AND Im still receiving these messages from THEIR portal and theyre still saying they have no control over the portal. Dont go to this practice, they just want to make money and be rude.
