5 /5 Gene L Frank: Dental hygienist found the beginning of a cavity under a crown while cleaning my teeth. She had the doctor look at the x-rays that she took. Determined that I did not have enough time for them to take care of it as I was leaving for the summer in 6 days. She gave me instructions on how to care for it until I can have it permanently repaired. Today, the office sent my x-rays to a dentist in Iowa and my appointment is in 1 week. Excellent care and service from everyone at Smooth Sailing Dental!!

My hygienist at Smooth Sailing, Barbara, is wonderful at making me feel calm. She explains everything and checks in with me often. Awesome experience every time!

He is by far the best dentist as well as one of the kindest , brightest and most professional health care providers I have ever known. He has such a calming presence, explains everything in detail and I can honestly say despite multiple crowns, fillings, etc . I have never experienced any pain . I know this sounds too good to be true but it is the truth. Absolutely amazing ! Most of his staff have worked for him the same amount of time. They are equally incredible people, highly skilled and are with you every step of the way . Always making sure you are comfortable and knowing when you may need a breather . I am a physician. I have spent the last 48 years surrounded by health professionals. Dr Long is by far number one in my book. You are lucky if he is your dentist .

5 /5 Kristin Milner: The Staff!! The Staff from front entrance to the chair the entire staff is warm, welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. I walked in with a tooth emergency, and they took care of me quickly and helped put my mind at ease that I was going to walk out with my tooth fixed correctly. Nobody "likes" going to the dentist, but I very much like going to this office whenever needed.

5 /5 Diane: My crown for my implant came off and Smooth Sailing Dental took me right in on an emergency. Dr. Long, his assistant and everyone else in this office are so nice and welcoming. I needed a new crown! They did not put a lot of green gagging goop in my mouth for the impression. The impression for my new crown was easy with their new state of art equipment. He fixed my implant perfectly, within a reasonable amount of time, and at a very reasonable price. Amazing! Dr. Long also let me know that I need a root canal on a tooth that my regular dentist missed. I wish I lived closer and I could use Dr. Long and his staff as my regular dentist. Thank you for a most pleasant dental visit considering that I am not even a regular patient.

Erica Slaten: I was a patient with Ricard Dentistry for over 10 years, up until recently. Throughout the years, there has been a steady decline in quality of service. Last year, I needed a deep cavity filled which led to a crown. During the crown procedure, there were technical difficulties while using a new scanner that creates the imprints for the permanent crown. I was called to come in so they could re-scan it but then was told it “wasn’t necessary”, which was a red flag. After getting the permanent crown, there was sensitivity and pain. I started seeing a new dentist in Vero and it was brought to my attention via X-ray that the crown was placed incorrectly and exposed a portion of my tooth, leading to the need for another crown procedure. I reached out to Ricard about the issue and was told that the office manager was “in a meeting” each time I called. I also emailed explaining the issue with the attached new X-rays and voiced that I needed them to fix the problem they caused and received no response. It has now been over TWO MONTHS since I have reached out and I still haven’t heard anything from them. No calls back, no email response, nothing. Due to their negligence and lack of communication, I do not recommend coming to this practice, especially if you need any serious dental work done. They have been completely unprofessional and I feel ignored. This isn’t how you should treat any patient. If you are looking for a mediocre cleaning or an office that ignores your pain and doesn’t fix their mistakes, then maybe head to Ricard Dentistry.
