1 /5 Delphine Mico: I have been a loyal customer to Spa & Nail fever for more than a year. Coming approximately every 2 to 3 weeks to get my nails done. I have always had great service so far.
But what happened today truly surprised me. I got a pedicure, and they had to remove my sandals. At the end of my pedicure, they put back the sandals on my feet and I realized the gold color on the top of a big part of one of my sandal was completely gone. It was obvious that someone had spilled acetone on my shoe.
When I spoke to the manager about this, he claimed that I came with that damage already.
For a place that I had been loyally going to for more than a year, spending over $100 every other week, I felt quite insulted that they would insinuate I might have made that up, and did not even offer any way to resolve this. That was not cool how they handled this. They completely ruined my shoes, and I will not be able to wear them again. The manager was very rude as well, he raised his voice at me when I tried explaining what happened. The whole thing was really unprofessional.
He showed the video surveillance but refused to show me the section where my shoes were located, basically making this exercise useless.
My friend and I had enough, so I ended up paying for the service and left.
I could tell even the receptionist there was embarrassed for the way I was treated. She apologized and said there was nothing she could do.
I will not be going back. And for the people who choose to go to this place, please be careful with your belongings. If someone there is negligent and ruins your things, they will not take any responsibility.
