The managers only make about $2 more than regular employees, yet they act entitled, as if they’re the richest people around even though they clock in just like everyone else every day. Nicole wasn’t particularly helpful, and I thought she was supposed to be the best manager. I watched them all treat regular workers poorly, and honestly, the workers were much more attractive and capable. It almost felt like there was some jealousy or hate involved.
The atmosphere was miserable overall. The only person who stood out and was genuinely helpful was Emma. Thank you, Emma, for being humane and treating others with respect. Your character speaks volumes, and you truly deserve better.
I’m so grateful I’ve moved on from this place. I’m now thriving in my beauty niche, much happier, and earning more than what those managers get paid for the act. As for Ana, who’s supposed to be HR for Spa Palmera, I’m not even sure what she does. Meanwhile, I do 1% of what they do and earn significantly more. Poor employees, working so hard just to likely be replaced.
A win is a win, and best of all, I no longer have to deal with unnecessary entitlement. Know your worth, even if no one else does, and find a place that will treat you with the respect you deserve and pay you real money.
