1 /5 Steven P: Exorbitant prices and nasty attitude. GF went in for an oil change, they said the battery failed testing. She never had a problem with it, but got her first ever battery warning light that same day after she got the car back. hmmmm....
They wanted to charge $140 for a cabin air filter, claiming the filter itself cost $100. The OEM filter costs about $50, aftermarket less than half that. And replacing it took 2 minutes, no tools needed. Pop off the plastic cover under the glove box, pull out old filter, push new filter in, snap cover back on. Which I did myself. $140? Exorbitant.
New wiper blades were quoted at $65. Quality ones cost maybe $15-20, decent ones $10-15, and they take another 2 minutes to install. Slide the old ones off, snap the new ones on. Which I did myself. $65? Exorbitant.
And their battery replacement cost is higher than what a MB dealer charges. If you dont know about cars, DO NOT accept their recommendations or prices without checking with someone who knows even a little about cars. The oil change wasnt cheap either (well over $200), but thats Mercedes. They were pretty nasty with my GF after she did a reality check with me before declining their extra recommendations. I dont understand the positive reviews here if this is how they do business.
