Spanish River Church - Boca Raton (FL)

5 /5 Susan Rizzi: I’ve been attending Spanish River church for 7 years. I was raised Catholic and looking for a church home in Boca. At most Catholic Churches I could only find a quiet room to worship with my kids (2&4) at the time at my side. My husband has worked most weekends all of our marriage. I visited SRC and they had a beautiful kids center with multiple rooms for different age groups of children. They allowed the kids to play with peers and taught them about God while I worshiped. The environment was safe, clean, welcoming and always a 5 star experience. They had family movie nights & many different family activities. We quickly fell in love and became members. I’ve volunteered in the kids center over the years and my children started attending the school. My experience walking onto the campus was a thought “everyone is so happy & nice”! This is because God is alive and well at work at SRC. The people I met were filled with the Spirit. I can’t say enough good things about the church & school. It’s become so much more to me than a place to worship. I am a regular in the weekly women’s groups and SRC & SRCS are our home and community. I’m grateful God led me here and I hope you’ll consider giving SRC a try… we are growing and always improving at SRC. A perfectly imperfect environment of people doing our best to follow the Lord.

1 /5 Candice Nicoll: My beautiful intelligent granddaughter was BULLIED at the youth group on Wed. June 4th by a group of 11 and 12 yr old girls!!!!! What kind of teaching is taking place at this "Christian" Church?? Despicable that my precious granddaughter was humiliated and devastated. No surprise that she cried all the way home and into the night. I am appalled to hear that there was no intervention. Heart breaking to watch like a "pack of dogs" attaching a defenseless child. We WILL find a loving, Christ-like youth group elsewhere. Apparently others have reported similar incidents, but NO changes to teaching of respect, manners or character traits that exemplify the teachings of Jesus at this Church.

5 /5 Nicole Hudson: Ive called SRC my church home since around 2004. When I first attended, I was part of the womens Bible study group and found it so impactful without judgement. I felt heard and loved at times in my life that were challenging. The different ministrys and community outreach is really something special. Pastor David speaks the Gospel every week while connecting Gods word to todays events and news keeping it relevent and relatable. My family and I are members and involved with the childrens ministry. Its truly precious to be able to watch and care for the babies and young children during service and speak to them about Jesus!

5 /5 Aaron Magee: My family and I have been in this community for over 20+ years. Its biblically sound teaching, gospel-centered mission minded, and just full of people who love Jesus and each other :) There are many ways to serve and get involved too. Small groups are a way to get to know others.

5 /5 Jackie Parisi: Spanish River Church and SRC kids is not only a place of worship for our family, it’s a place of fun, comfort and support. The friendships we have built and the support from the whole SRC community and the people from there are now family to us. We have made lifelong friends from church, Rivertots and SRC kids. From the first time I attended a service at SRC I felt changed. I felt the support of the entire community and I felt I was not alone in life, Jesus was always supporting and guiding me and my family. I am forever grateful for Spanish River Church. Extra thanks to Mrs Joan and Mrs Alyysa for all the years of love at Rivertots and treating my 3 babies like their own! We love you all!
