5 /5 Tehya Champion: St. John’s is wonderful! I am converting to Catholicism. The church is welcoming and has a nice big congregation as well as a beautiful sanctuary and Grotto. I love to go to Mass here and I don’t intend on leaving anytime soon. This church is very active and has many opportunities for parishioners to get involved in their community. For any non-catholics in Viera who are interested in Catholicism, please give this church a visit!

They told me about this church and how accepting the priest is. As a lesbian whose pronouns are they/her/wolf/wolfself I enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere!

R Evans: This was my 2nd visit to the church on Saturday evening. Most people I observed seemed friendly and spirit-filled. I enjoyed the sermon given by Pastor Jason. I sat in the 2nd row from the front near the center stage. An elder-type male seated a few seats away felt it necessary to admonish me for having a lidless coffee cup in the sanctuary. He mused how I had somehow made it through the many greeters without them saying anything. He, of course made sure I knew it was wrong. Thank you sir for making me feel welcome in your church.

Connor Mahoney: I enjoyed my visit to Melbourne Community Church this morning! They are tucked in the strip mall at the corner of 192 and Wickham Road behind the Walgreens. Great community of believers and great message about the purpose of prayer by Pastor Brandon Harris who joined as the church’s teaching pastor in 2022. The church was founded in 2002 and longtime worship pastor Walter Staub, ordained by MCC in 2003, still leads the congregation in worship today including some of his original songs. Beautiful, faithful church here!

The integrity of Gods word is upheld at all costs and the pastor cares for the church in an astounding way. God is moving so powerfully through this body of believers. This church has surrounded my family and I would not want to be anywhere else!
