1 /5 alexis chenevert: If I could do 0, I would. This place had me sitting for 6 hours, never got a room. Never spoke with a doctor, PA or Nurse practitioner. I was handed discharge papers with NO type of prognosis, or my results. The lady who handed me the papers didnt even correctly read what was typed?! When I asked for the doctor, they asked which room I was in to which I let them know I was never placed. Even the front desk was confused as to why i never got placed in a room, especially with my ongoing pains. When the charge nurse came to talk to me she was also no help and had no clue why I was never placed. The front desk let me know this hospital is racist towards people and choose who they want to help. The doctor kept bringing up excuses as to why he wouldn’t see me. The nurses were too busy socializing to even care about the paients i.e. and many others. The most helpful people were the front desk personnel, transporter and the ultrasound tech. This place needs to close its doors or find better workers because this has been the worst experience in my 22 years of life. I will be filing complaints.

1 /5 Meghan Corbin: I had an awful experience yesterday 3/26/2024 I went here because I had a horrible reaction happen between medications that I take. I get here bring my medication, explain exactly what happened. I get swabbed ONE time for cold and flu, and only once because they come back and offer to do Covid and strept and I tell them no because I dont understand how they came to that conclusion of testing when I explained what happened. I ended being there for six hours for one swab and no other attempts for testing, just to be told that I tested negative on the only things they tested. I tried again to explain what happened. My experience and medication were disregarded because some of my symptoms matched that of the cold, flu, strept and Covid.

5 /5 W Samantha: We rushed our daughter to the ER at 2 am for a very high fever that otc meds just couldn’t bring down. The front desk was very helpful and the charge nurse immediately brought us back and got the process going. Staff did so well with our baby during swabs, medicine, etc. Dr Nimmons had great bedside manner and answered any questions we had kindly and thoroughly. Trips in the past to Bixler haven’t always been the best, but this one- everything was great and we are thankful. Everyone was quick acting/thinking which means a lot to a scared mama and daddy in the middle of the night.

1 /5 Lemonier Renee: The Bixler ER at TMH is the worst. Not speaking for the whole hospital but just this awful ER. If they don’t think you have an advocate or anyone to speak for you they will let you and your family sit there for hours upon hours with no information. Fussed at a nurse because she said the reason we weren’t getting any information about my sister’s cat scan results was because the physicians were tied up with serious things. She needed an education on bedside manner so I gave her one. Don’t go here, go to the one on Metropolitan or even to Capital Regional (HCA). They’re both way better and caring.

5 /5 Dam C: Had a great experience at Bixler Emergency Department. All the staff did their absolute best to give me excellent service and help me. I was treated with the upmost respect and empathy, the room and ED equipment was clean and organized. Thank you Liz, RN for being such a great and knowledgeable nurse, also thanks to Dr. Peters for listening and giving me the best possible care and treatment. Grateful to registration, transport, ultrasound techs and all the staff present. Your service was great and you should be proud of that great work.

Hey what can I say, but they make sure you feel appreciated and welcome to the family. At least I think so. Were being treated like queens and kings, as we should with much love to share. The Doctors and Nurses are so amazing.

VanLandingham Cody A Dr - Tallahassee Gwen Pace: Dr. Cody is one of the best physicians I’ve had. I returned to Tallahassee a few years ago. I was fortunate enuf to get in with him and am so pleased. He listens to you very carefully and explains everything and takes time to answer any questions you might have.. if a referral is needed, he’s on top of it immediately. I feel so blessed T O have Dr. Cody as my doctor.

Capital Regional Medical Center Southwood - Tallahassee Mandy OCallaghan: I would leave 0 stars if I could. I took my mother to this ER when she was in extreme pain. There was no one at the front desk when we arrived and no one came for almost 10 minutes. There was no buzzer or alarm to be able to get anyones attention. If my mother was having a heart attack or stroke, she wouldnt have made it. Please DO NOT take your loved ones here if you have a true emergency!!! When the staff did come out they were belligerent when we expressed that we were upset no one was available for so long. Ultimately, I drove my mom to a different hospital for treatment.

Care Point Health & Wellness Center - Tallahassee Jessica Veloza: I have not been here as a patient, but I have been working here as a provider since June, 2024 and I have a lot of positive things to say about this clinic. We have great Medical Assistants who are fast and efficient, kind and caring. We are able to draw your blood in office so you dont have to go to an outside lab and sit in a packed lobby for a long wait. We have an X-ray machine, which can also save visits to outside places when needed. We have 30 min and longer scheduled visits with patients, so we are able to sit down and actually listen and try to get to the bottom of your concerns. We are not rushing in and out in 3 minutes, not listening to the patient. We also have a whole team of people from our front desk staff, to our referral specialist, to our leadership, and more who are dedicated, caring, genuinely kind and hard working members of this team. NO PLACE IS PERFECT. We all know that our medical system in the USA has MANY challenges. But, I can attest to the fact that in this clinic we care and are doing our very best to provide the best possible care to our patients. I think google reviews are interesting in that many people only take the time to write them when they are upset about something. I wish more people would write reviews about their positive experiences so that someone trying to make a decision about what services to choose would have a clearer, and more realistic picture of what MOST peoples experiences with the service are.

Dr. Narayanan Krishnamoorthy MD - Tallahassee Andrew Hutchinson: I am so lucky to have found this office. Its been so difficult finding good physicians here in Tallahassee that do not put hyperprofit motive above the thier patients health and safety. The entire office staff is very dedicated to your care . That is not true in many Tallahassee offices. The Doctor himself is very thoughtful and probing. He isnt reaching for a prescription and a pill to solve everything many clinics do that not only dont help but cause more harm. Thank you Dr Krishnamoorthy and equally thank you all to all the many staff members for all your help.

They were attentive, compassionate, and knowledgeable. I feel supported and well taken care of throughout my short stays. Thank you! I don’t remember everyone name but the few people that goes above & beyond for me is Nurse Alyssa, Nurse Rhonnie Nurse celeste, & Nurse Missy. these nurses are the Best!! They never miss my vein when doing my IV, and I’m a very Hard Stick! I’m so used to have multiple sticks just to get my Iv in my arm but with them I always feel so comfortable! Also I want to extend my Thanks to Mrs. Claire Auxiliary Volunteer for the snack carts & last but certainly not Least the techs named Tech Britney, Tech Karena , & Tech Mani “KT or TK” that’s his nickname I’m not sure his real name & I don’t want to get it wrong. There’s one more person Tess is a musician w/ a Ukulele I love when she goes around singing & teaching us to play. Anyway These guys at the cancer center are always incredibly supportive and compassionate. They provide top-notch medical care and emotional support every time!. I always feel truly cared for and grateful for their expertise and kindness.
