4 /5 Frank Whitesell: We went for the Thursday evening hours when the museum is open later. We enjoyed the music in the atrium and walked the exhibits upstairs. I learned a lot about Surrealism in the overview video and then better understood what I was seeing in the galleries. I preferred Dalis work over the other artist on display who focused on surreal photography. I usually love photographic medium, but not David Raymond. Luckily it leaves next week. The VR Dali exhibit was the highlight.

5 /5 Sharon Lewis: Must put this in your list! I love art and the Dali Museum does not disappoint. It’s right across from the bay by a smaller airport. Easy to get to. Easy to park. Cost 10 dollars to park. We had ordered our tickets in advance and it was frustrating to get in because they were doing tickets from ‘walk ins’ and the people who pre ordered had to wait. Kind of silly. Ih well. However everyone who worked there including the parking attendant were so wonderful, very friendly. We went in. a Saturday, it was busy but not overwhelming. The exhibit amazing. We joined a tour and the docent who led it was fabulous. We did eat there. Wouldn’t do that again. There are so many great restaurants nearby. Enjoy!

5 /5 Jeremy IsMyName: This museum is very nice. The architecture is gorgeous. They have a great rotating exhibition in the dome. Most recently was a Pink Floyd experience and it was amazing! The price tag was a little high for 45min, but its a memory that I will always cherish and Ill certainly be back!

4 /5 Tara Silver: We went on a 1/2 Thursday evening. Highly recommended buying tickets in advance for Thursday nights. It’s a beautiful museum. My husband and I had gone when it was in the old building many years ago. Brought the kids this time. My art loving one realized he’s not into surrealism but still appreciated the museum. I personally loved the QR code bring the paintings to life. To see the lines, focus and hidden images I wouldn’t have seen otherwise. The VR station with the one painting was also very fun. Personally, I’m glad we came on 1/2 price night.

5 /5 Naomi Sprung: I wish I could give 20 stars for this awesome experience!!! The building itself is perfect for housing this huge amazing artistic vision!!! The staircase is gorgeous and the views are magnificent! There is a little cafe to buy drinks and food and there are outside tables as well. You are surrounded by the huge personality of this utter icon of artistic vision and surrealist art. There is a movie that runs on a loop explaining the art movement and a separate 360 art experience that tells about his personal and artistic journey. His paintings and photos are amazing and his humour is endless what an absolutely incredible place!!!!! Fabulous, great docents and great gift shop!!! We loved every single moment!!

Great Explorations Childrens Museum - St. Petersburg

Toni Thompson: We love coming here for the permanent things to do like the surfboard climber, the treehouse slide, the put-on-the-weather-forecaster-jacket to be on TV, Firefighter complete with sliding pole, shopping experience, and more. The seasonal activity is a simulated ice rink with plastic floor and felt snowballs--a real Florida kids ice skating experience. The interactive coloring and science events are always fun. A separate area for younger ones allows them to explore fine motor skills like puzzles and gross motor equipment in their own space. Free parking with a circle drop-off and pick-up drive in a lot shared by another daytime venue and a restaurant. Free wheel chair van access spaces with long curb cuts. wheel chair access in the museum except for the surfboard climber, treehouse, and the step up to firetruck. The Creative Corner houses several Florida small animals like turtle, lizard, and snake. Today very loud acoustical music that contributed to the sensory input Wheel chair access all gender restroom with 5 ft x 5 ft area, 2 grab bars, and diaper changer.

Imagine Museum: Contemporary glass art - St. Petersburg

Taylor Tedesco: I had a wonderful time exploring the Imagine Museum! The staff were all so friendly and helpful, the audio tour was interesting, and I had fun searching for the hidden marbles. It’s a great place to escape the heat and see some really cool art. One of my favorite exhibits was by Steve Tobin, who at one point detonated blocks of clay with explosives. The pieces are so beautiful, and the story behind how they were created brings them to another level. I don’t know why I waited so long to visit - it’s a must-do!

Sawgrass Lake Park - St. Petersburg

Jessica Patton: Beautiful housing area before getting to the park. Love the wooden nature trails that are shielded by the trees. We got to see a baby alligator among other things. The wind was blowing. I loved getting my steps in while being outside enjoying nature. The bathrooms and trails are well kept.

South Straub Park - St. Petersburg

Toni Thompson: This spot of greenery provides a park buffer between the waterfront harbor and the busy St Pete street with upscale eateries and stores. A few benches offer some seating with one bench by the fountain. A great respite in the city.

Chihuly Collection - St. Petersburg

Shae Conrad: Ive not ever been a huge glass person, as far as art goes. But this place was really, really cool! I was visiting from out of town and came across it. What a fun surprise. A lot to see and really interesting pieces. Bright colors. Great presentation. Wonderful lighting. They also have a place you can go watch a live glass blowing class. Only $20 bucks. Worth stopping to check out!
