3 /5 Valerie Ladino: Entry was very pricey, $44 per adult. However on their website it says $33 which is not true (unless it might be online offered) It doesn’t seem worth $44, basically $95 for two adults. It definitely was a big and there was cool animals to see. I would recommend if you have kids, It’s very informative and most spots have interactive screens to learn more about the animals. Staff where nice and pretty clean environment overall. I would say really consider if it worth $44

The underwater world on display is absolutely stunning — so vibrant, diverse, and mesmerizing. The aquarium beautifully showcases the unique marine life that makes Florida’s and the world’s waters so special. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and comfortable thanks to the friendly and attentive staff. Every team member seemed genuinely knowledgeable and eager to share their passion for our underwater species. They answered all our questions with enthusiasm, which made the visit even more enriching. The entire experience enlightened me about the incredible biodiversity beneath the surface and deepened my appreciation for these creatures and their fragile habitats. I’m excited to return once the new construction is complete, as I hear it will only enhance the exhibits and overall experience tenfold. A truly wonderful visit — highly recommended for anyone interested in exploring the magic of Florida’s underwaters and all bodies around the world!

5 /5 Ana Singh: We had a wonderful time at The Florida Aquarium! The exhibits were well-designed and informative, especially the touch pool where we got to pet some friendly rays and stingrays. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, answering our questions with patience and enthusiasm. The cafe had a good selection of food and drinks, and the overall atmosphere was clean and inviting. We also appreciated the educational initiatives they have in place. While the aquarium could benefit from more interactive exhibits geared towards older children, overall it was a fantastic experience and we highly recommend it

5 /5 Laura Jones: We had so much fun the day we came! There was so much to look at. My favorite things were the huge aquarium with all the different species in it and the tanks with the jelly fish in them that you could pet! That was one of the coolest things Ive ever done! We had a great time!

5 /5 Mary N: It’s just a really great experience. I loved all of the exhibits. It was super crowded, but we went on a Saturday, so it’s to be expected. Also, expect the parking lot to be full - we parked across the street, so not a big deal. They do have food & drinks. We bought our tickets in advance, so there was no wait for us. There was a line for people who did NOT buy advance tickets. I would recommend buying in advance & skipping that line!!

ZooTampa at Lowry Park - Tampa Sunshine: Very cool experience! We went on a fresh day mid spring, which makes it more enjoyable. Most of the views are obviously outside, so I can’t imagine how bad it gets during summer. We didn’t get to see a couple of the animals, otherwise the rest were visible and towards the closing time we got to see a lot of monkeys up making noises which was really cool. There are nice attractions for toddlers and my kid loved everything. A good 2 hours minimum trip. I would definitely look into bringing my own food next time because I didn’t find anything worth consuming, so we got some hot dogs, which is not ideal for me.

Glazer Childrens Museum - Tampa Samantha Hafner: Perfect for toddler/preschool-kindergarten ages, but even the adults had fun. Each level has different activities, including a very large interactive water table (not a bad idea to bring a change of clothes or towel). They have splash jacket things but neither of my kiddos wanted to wear them. The climbing area is great for adventurous kids. The staff were really friendly and interacted with the kids. There is a food area that offers several snack and meal options that was reasonably priced. Overall, admission is a bit pricey, but they do offer a Florida resident discount and packages for families who may visit multiple times a year. The closest parking is the garage next door. We ended up going on a weekend where there was an event in CH park so it was $15 to park. While the museum is 3 levels, there is a large elevator. Theres also a place to park strollers on the first floor if you dont want to wait for the elevator. This is a fun place for a few hours, especially when its raining or weather gets really hot. We go about once a year and the kids seem to enjoy it.

Adventure Island - Tampa Dan Magnano: Spent a relaxing day at Adventure Island. The lazy river was the highlight—smooth current, clean water, and not overly crowded. Staff was friendly, and everything felt safe and well-managed. Great spot to cool off and unwind without the chaos of bigger parks. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the Tampa area looking for a laid-back water day. Get there early!

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay - Tampa Welington Silva: Alongside Sea World, in Orlando, it has the best roller coasters. The Rhythm of Nature ice skating show is amazing. There is story, there is technique, there is good music, the stage looks beautiful in every step of the show; please, do yourself a favor and watch it. The drones and fireworks show: the drone part is very nice, but the fireworks part looks a bit loose, with no particular purpose; the music sounds a bit fragmented. Overall, it is a nice way to end your day in the park, but could use some improvements here and there. I recommend this park for families, friends, groups and individuals who love a good thrilling and enjoyable day at a theme park (in the summer bring hat, sunscreen, water, healthy snacks because you will need it)

Tampa Theatre - Tampa Tina M.: Very cool place. First time seeing a show here. Very intimate sized group with spacious seating.... I dont think there could be a bad seat in the house. Small snack bar that sells beer, wine, candy, popcorn. Staff were all very helpful. Will call pick up was easy. You do have to go through security to get in. There is a cute little coffee truck outside while you wait in line... it was long but moves fast. Nice venue!

Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park - Tampa Olha B: Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park is a beautiful spot to relax and take in the scenery. The river view walkway was absolutely stunning, and the whole area had a peaceful, scenic vibe. I just wish there were more benches to sit and enjoy the view for longer. Overall, it’s a great place to visit and unwind!

Sulphur Springs Water Tower - Tampa Al Mich: Great place to visit, beautiful scenery, view of the river and the iconic tower is spectacular. There is a trail along the river that take you to th Sulphur Springs Park and under the 275 expressway. Bring you camera, there is a lot of wildlife ready to have their picture taken. Caution, very few visitors, maybe due to a few caraters that seen to have mental or drug issues. My advise is to never visit the place alone and do not interact with the mentioned individuals.

Tampa Golf Cart Tours - Tampa Taryn Pinstein: I highly recommend this tour! My teen son and I had some time to spare before touring University of Tampa last week. The tour was fabulous and it gave us a perfect preview of all the different Tampa neighborhoods. “Sully” our tour guide was knowledgeable and engaging. Our favorite part was visiting Ybor City where we learned about the melting pot of various cultures shaping the area. We enjoyed a delicious Cuban Cafe’ con Leche thanks to Sully’s recommendation. Touring Tampa from the back of a golf cart is a memory we will never forget.

I loved the interactive displays and the way they brought Floridas past to life, from indigenous peoples to pirates and modern times. The waterfront location adds to the charm, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. A highlight for me was the Columbia Cafe—delicious food with a view! This is a must-visit for history buffs and anyone wanting to learn more about Tampa Bays rich heritage.
