Both Sam and Jen are talented beyond measure, both have an expertise above and beyond any stylists I’ve ever met. They both have many years and a wealth of knowledge under their belts to be able to create any style or color combination you desire. The salon is very beautiful, cute and intimate which I love, makes for a wonderful, calm and relaxing experience. With a full line of incredible products to choose from they can put you in the right direction for at home maintenance for your new look! I highly recommend

I started going to this salon three years ago and then I went to a place close to home but was not happy and now I am back. My hair looks like the same as it was done four weeks ago. No showing of gray, the color is still beautiful and I am so happy. I do have more traveling for the beautiful hair but it is definitely worth it. The staff members make you feel at home and relaxed.

5 /5 Lori Turner-Wilson: I have never been to a hair salon I love more than The Hair Room. Sam (stylist/owner) and Marianne (front desk/scheduling) make every visit amazing. First of all, Sam is a gifted colorist. Red hair is tough, so I highly researched area colorists when I moved to the area back in 2020 -- and had a number of recommendations for Sam in particular. They werent wrong. She makes my hair a work of art every time -- from the color to the cut to the style. Whats more, this salon is operated exceptionally well. I rarely ever had to wait, and Sams customers are always her top priority. Plus, Marianne runs a tight scheduling process. And my favorite thing about Sam and Marianne is how authentic and funny they are. I laughed until my sides hurt on many on occasion. Her customers joke that shes a hair therapist (a hair-apist), because shes such a great listener. 10 stars!

Jen: Went here after being recommended by a family friend. Absolutely not returning. I went in with photo references and wanted an all over rooted coloring. I talked with my stylist and we agreed on a balayage coloring with “blended roots”. The woman was over booked switching between myself and other clients who came in, so I was left waiting a lot. I am not the type to complain about anything to anyone. I understand she was busy and she was doing, I assume, her best to give me my desired result, but unfortunately she was just unqualified. I came home with the chunky/streaky highlights as if it were 1990. Cried for about an hour and have made an appoint elsewhere to get it corrected.

Leanna Barns: Pros: the atmosphere is inviting. The hairdressers are very social and very funny. Cons: My hair is completely butchered. Asked for a trim, and my hair is completely uneven!!! No words to describe the unevenness. The middle of my hair is very short, the sides are different lengths, and the back has long strands and short strands. Looking at my hair everyday just makes me even more mad! now i have to wait for my hair to grow back, and go somewhere else to fix the problem! If you want a haircut or trim this shop may not be for you!!! They do offer other hair services, i did not get any thing else done but after this i wont be back.

Nahiomy is the best, she understood exactly what I wanted and made my curls pop. For nails she uses top quality brands and tools that make them last longer than normal and my hair always looks and feels great when I leave. Nobody does Red like them!
