5 /5 Darcy Kann: We walked down here twice. DO NOT GO BAREFOOT ON THE BEACH! A couple locals told us this is called "Bottle Beach". All the glass washes up right there on that little beach. Its really a secret paradise. You could pick up glass for 8 hrs a day for the rest of your life and there would still be glass.

4 /5 Jordan Updike: The Key West Nature Preserve is a nice little pocket park with a boardwalk that opens up to the sea. The marshy area can sometimes smell and foster more bugs than is usual in modern Key West, but this is reflective of an untouched island ecology. Muscle through the marsh and you’ll be treated to a private seaside view not many visitors or even locals ever see. Great area for birdwatching!

USCGC Ingham Maritime Museum - Key West Abby D: If you’re in Key West out this stop on your destinations list ! Even if you’re not super into military museums ( as I am not ) going through this ship is like a time capsule and will blow you away! This is a self guided tour and at the time there was only one other couple aboard the ship ahead of us- so we literally had the place to ourselves. We happened upon this floating museum because we were riding our bikes around Key West and this was truly one of the highlights of our time there. It was $15 regular price and veterans get a discount on ticket price - $10 . This is a private museum and is partially funded by donations so consider a few bucks extra if you can , to help support this piece of living history. Take your time and walk through. You can go from top to bottom of the ship. There’s a lot that you can touch, but some rooms are behind plexiglass to preserve the displays . This ship is as it was when it was last used in the late 80’s. Things were left there and it’s been used as a museum ever since. I just can’t say enough about how extremely cool going aboard the Ingham was. I really had such a big impact on our Key West adventure.

Key West Visit Jet Ski Tours - Key West Sumanth: Great place , awesome service .. Austin and one other associate helped us navigate through the key-west waters on the jet skies .. the best part is the sandy beach where we get off the jet skies and dive into the ocean .. awesome experience!! highly recommended

Key West Cemetery - Key West S Klimek: Off the beaten path. Interesting history of the island. Bring water if you are going to be walking, it gets hot, and you wont want to leave once you get moving. Graves go back to the early 1800s. I would recommend taking a tour of available but I have not been able to find one.

Edward B. Knight Pier - Key West Steve Takata: This is a nice pier to walk out over the water on Key West. There often wading birds like herons here, and occasionally you can spot fish or occasionally Portuguese Man-o-war in the water below.

Alex Vega Key West Firehouse Museum - Key West Kasey Miller: Very interesting piece of history. Free admission. The staff are all volunteers and super into the history and the visitors, they were so much fun! Find Bum Farto and get a free shot! Or get inducted to The Conch by drinking a shot of rum out of the conch shell with them!

The Mangrove - Jacob Curtiss: Great place to spend a few hours kayaking or paddle boarding alone or with friends and family. Youll feel like youre in the middle of the jungle despite being right next to a housing development and international airport. If you are on a tight schedule or you dont want to get lost, I would bring a map or go with a guide.

Sails To Rails Museum at Flagler Station - Key West Dennis s: We bought a package with four attractions and this was one. Its a small museum but has a lot of information about Key West and Henry Flagler. This is a smaller version of the displays and information we got on a tour of Pigeon Key, but worth it if you dont have time to travel to the 7 mile bridge area to take that tuor.
