  • Theneverlandkid wall mural of stock island - Key West Tomas Constantino: That Mural no longer exists!!! Change of owner, business, something but, the Mural does not exist, the wall is painted with another landscape but allegorical to the business that exists today.
Key West Veterans Memorial Garden at Bayview Park - Key West dx d: Everytime I’m in Key West I stop at the Veterans War Memorial to pay my respect and to enjoy this beautiful park that was made for me and my fellow veterans. Sometimes I come with a rake or broom or some trash bags to do whatever I can to keep the park looking good. I’ll sit at this band stand or walk the memorial and read the names and thank those who gave it all. Key West has done a nice job with Veterans Park.
Key West Museum of Art & History at the Custom House - Key West Heidi Jones: What an amazing place!!! There is such a rich history in Key West! They switch artist exhibits every few months. I went when the Mario Sanchez works were displayed. I thought they were perfectly Key West! The story of the old man and the fish going up the stairs was beautifully done. The bathrooms were clean and even their architecture was beautiful. I will definitely be back.
Fran Ford White-crowned Pigeon Preserve - Key West JitkaKac: This is a great place for biking near the runway! It would be too long to go on foot from anywhere. A quiet and wild part of the island with several hiking trails. We have seen jellyfish in the ponds.
Ghosts & Gravestones Tour Key West - Key West Ghost Hunter: I created and was president of cflparanormal over 25 years ago, I stopped doing investigations due to the fakes and frauds of the paranormal community. For the last 20 years I have spent my time debunking the fakes and frauds ruining the community and doing so anonymously. I was skeptical about this place but refreshingly surprised. Howard and Kate were amazing, no lies, no falsehoods just facts and legends. Howard actually was supernatural himself in driving the trolley through the narrow streets flawlessly. Kate told us the facts and legends and added just enough theatrics to keep it interesting. Absolutely amazing and I was actually looking to catch them in some falsehoods .. none! On another note, of all the investigations I have done, I have captured 100s of orbs on camera, never with the naked eye until tonight... I actually caught a orb in the basement/ice house tonight with my naked eye and shocked me, which is spectacular.. do yourself a favor and take this tour if anywhere near south Florida !! It is very entertaining and educational. If the owner/ operator of this company is reading this, give Kate and Howard a raise, they really deserve it. Thank you for the experience, education and entertainment, and I mean that wholeheartedly
Wyland Gallery of the Florida Keys - Key West Kevin Martin: Yesterday we were visiting Key West and happened to stumble up Wyland. We decided to go inside because of the beautiful dolphin statue and pirate ship piece. After walking around for 5 minutes, one of the workers told us we couldn’t take photos. About halfway through we asked the same worker how we’d go about purchasing a piece of art. He told us that we could go on their website to find the price of whatever we were interested in and wasn’t helpful or nice about it. After leaving I went to their website and can find no information on the pieces there. You have to do an Artwork Inquiry and jump through hoops. I truly believe he didn’t take us serious and wanted us to go on a goose chase. I guess you have to be dressed a certain way to get any good customer service from this place.
Nancy Forresters Secret Garden - Key West George Borrelli: Very small, quaint oasis. Tall shade trees and birds. Its largely a volunteer effort to provide rare birds a safe place. Please go and relax. All contributing helps a great cause. And its nice and relaxing respite for travelers.
Key West Legal Rum - Key West Andrea Purcell: Patrick, our Rum Master, and Stacy, our Master Class leader, made learning about the history of the rum running business and the modern rum making and distilling process exciting and fun. Our family celebrated our kiddo turning 21 with this class that came with a side of drinks, knowledge and laughs that cannot be made elsewhere! The souvenir glass, muddler and spoon were a huge bonus. A few classmates left and hung out together after at another establishment. Indelible memories!
Old Island Restoration Foundation - Key West
The Basilica of St. Mary Star of the Sea - Key West Lauren Connolly: This is my favorite stop in Key West. Stunning church and beautiful homilies. All are welcome- and it feels that way! Stayed behind after mass to say some prayers and watched a couple renew their wedding vows (45 years I think!). We were in town celebrating our 19th and Father renewed our vows too! It was an amazing experience. Make sure to explore outside too. Very peaceful and you can feel God here!
